The Loss Mitigation Underwriter l will be responsible for underwriting Loan Modifications applications in accordance with Treasury, Company and Investor guidelines while following company&rsquo;s policies and procedures under general supervision. Makes sound underwriting decisions and ensures that all decisions meet legal and policy requirements. Perform all duties in accordance with the company&rsquo;s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The Loss Mitigation Underwriter I level is the entry level role in the job family and generally handles the least complex underwriting files while gaining additional knowledge and experience on the more complex files. The target pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
What you&rsquo;ll do:
<ul><li>Perform a thorough analysis to ensure the quality of each loan and to determine compliance with Treasury, Company and Investor guidelines.
</li><li>Conduct Verification of Income (VOI).
</li><li>Calculate customer&rsquo;s front and back-end debt to income ratio.
</li><li>Verify occupancy, hardship and income.
</li><li>Apply payment waterfall to determine workout eligibility (repayment plan, forbearance, modification or liquidation options).
</li><li>If applicable, identify the type(s) and amounts of liquid assets the borrower holds.
</li><li>Determine and communicate needed conditions to properly document the file (reason for default letter, updated pay stubs, bankruptcy papers, etc.).
</li><li>Complete system tasks as required to maintain compliance with Treasury, Company and Investor guidelines.
</li><li>Document final decision and update system of record.
</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.
</li><li>1 to 2 years of underwriting loss mitigation experience required

What you&rsquo;ll do:
Responsible for all activities related to the deployment, implementation, and administration of databases including control, maintenance, and support of all database environments and related applications. Perform all duties in accordance with the company&rsquo;s policies and procedures, investor guidelines, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $65,000.00 to $85,000.00.
<ul><li>Monitor SQL Server health, jobs, storage, CPU, memory, and I/O for both SQL in Azure VM and Azure SQL environments to ensure stability.
</li><li>Execute routine database maintenance tasks including backups, integrity checks, and scheduled jobs to support system reliability.
</li><li>Troubleshoot basic database, job, and connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members for resolution.
</li><li>Support database deployments, code releases, and configuration changes in accordance with established change management processes.
</li><li>Maintain and update database documentation including runbooks, configurations, and operational procedures.
</li><li>Respond to production support requests and service desk tickets to ensure timely resolution of database-related issues.
</li><li>Participate in on call rotation.
</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server architecture, database objects, and relational database concepts including tables, indexes, and join.
</li><li>Basic knowledge of database backup, recovery models, and routine maintenance processes.
</li><li>Familiarity with SQL Server Agent jobs, scheduling, and monitoring concepts
</li><li>Basic understanding of database security concepts including logins, roles, and permissions
</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.
</li><li>Ability to write and troubleshoot basic T-SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation.
</li><li>Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the department&rsquo;s credibility, operations, and services.
</li><li>Ability to multi-task in a production support environment with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
</li><li>Strong attention to detail in executing tasks and reviewing results for accuracy.
</li><li>Ability to perform job duties in timely manner and meet service level agreements and timelines.
</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a team environment and supports shared operational responsibilities.
</li><li>Associate or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical work experience.
</li><li>0&ndash;2 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or relational databases in a professional or an academic environment.
</li><li>Microsoft Azure database experience a plus.
