 Carter Murray is excited to have partnered with a fantastic regional law firm who are looking to hire a Communications Specialist to join their growing Marketing &amp; Business Development team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 &bull; Plan and run the communications calendar across website, LinkedIn, website, email newsletters, client alerts, media, and internal channels.
 
 
 &bull; Produce on‑brand assets using templates: LinkedIn posts, web updates, email campaigns, and basic one‑pagers; coordinate translations when required.
 
 
 &bull; Perform light video editing for short social clips and event recaps using online tools, manage subtitles and aspect ratios.
 
 
 &bull; Media and PR support: maintain journalist lists, draft press notes, place quotes, and coordinate interviews; track coverage and outcomes.
 
 
 &bull; Build and segment mailing lists in the CRM; set up campaigns, A/B tests, and nurture flows; monitor deliverability and list hygiene.
 
 
 &bull; Measurement and reporting: track performance (reach, clicks, engagement, conversions) and translate results into recommendations for BD.
 
 
 &bull; Content governance: maintain tone of voice, messaging hierarchies, biographies, boilerplates, image libraries, and approvals workflow.
 
 
 &bull; Partner with BDMs and Events on integrated campaigns around rankings, matters, client alerts, and events.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience and skills
 
 
 
 &bull; 3&ndash;5 years in corporate communications, marketing, or PR within a law firm or consulting/professional services environment.
 
 
 &bull; Fluent written English with strong editing skills
 
 
 &bull; Hands‑on with Canva (and similar tools), website CMS updates, email platforms, and social scheduling tools
 
 
 &bull; Working knowledge of CRM systems and how communications data feeds BD targeting and reporting.
