About the team and position
 
Carvana's Infrastructure Development department is known for its team-oriented, fast-paced environment. The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction process from permitting through construction completion.

This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona.

What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Lead the construction process including: tracking permits, bid and contractor selection (including GC contract negotiations), manage vendors and internal procurement team.</li>
<li>Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Work with internal Design and Engineering teams to finalize design. Identifying construction related issues prior to submission to AHJ.</li>
<li>Direct the activities of vendors/consultants as required for implementations.</li>
<li>Communicate with internal corporate leadership regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, sustainability, quality control, and other performance standards.</li>
<li>Participate in negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach a mutual agreement</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
What you should have/know
<ul>
<li>To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.</li>
<li>7+ years of experience in project management, real estate construction, or relative field.</li>
<li>Multi Site Regional / National Experience preferred</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent of professional experience.</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with managing multiple, large, simultaneous construction projects.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Superior interpersonal skills, ability to interface with a variety of personalities with professionalism.</li>
<li>Ability to leverage strong business acumen and understanding of Carvana business to prioritize and execute in accordance with what is both feasible and beneficial for the company.</li>

About the team and position
 
Carvana is looking for a creative, passionate Instructional Designer who will help create training content for high-level technical and leadership development training programs across our Inspection Center organization. The Instructional Designer will develop and deliver innovative and engaging learning solutions including videos, self-guided learning, instructor-led courses and other educational content to support technical and leadership development training efforts across our vehicle reconditioning sites.

This position will work closely with our Inspection Center leadership team, IC Talent and Reconditioning Training teams. This role requires a passion for continuous learning and for creating best-in-class learning solutions.

This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona (Up to 10% travel may be required)

What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>You must be prepared to help with a variety of administrative, support, and general business organizational items. This may include:</li>
<li>Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods to define learning objectives and develop technical training curriculum</li>
<li>Leverage and maintain functional expertise in adult learning theory, learning principles and behavioral psychology to develop effective and scalable training plans and curriculum designed to develop leadership and technical capabilities</li>
<li>Leverage instructional design and multimedia skills to advise on and develop new learning materials including videos, e-learning modules, workbooks, instructor guides and job aids that will drive organizational learning and results</li>
<li>Partner with teams across the organization to identify training needs of the target audience, understand the expectations for technical and leadership roles across the organization and create accurate and effective training plans and content to meet organizational needs</li>
<li>Partner with Senior Leadership team to determine instructional end goals and objectives to create content that will drive the Inspection Center organization to meet those goals and objectives</li>
<li>Provide creative exercises and activities that will enhance the learning process</li>
<li>Develop effective deliverables for Inspection Center technical and leadership development training programs</li>
<li>Determine best media platform for facilitation of content (instructor-led, e-learning content, offline trainings, video, role plays, assessments, etc)</li>
<li>Train others to ensure successful and consistent program facilitation across different Inspection Center sites</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
What you should have/know
<ul>
<li>This position requires an organized critical thinker that is interested in gaining exposure across Carvana's operations. Required skills include:</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree required</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years working experience in instructional design with at least 2 years experience in adult training in a corporate or manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Applied knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models (experience with ADDIE, Agile, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick, or other models a plus)</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning theory and instructional design development and delivery methods</li>
<li>Experience in creating hands-on training, performance support tools, and identifying results-based outcomes for manufacturing processes and procedures</li>
<li>Ability to take initiative and execute in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment</li>
<li>Comfortable working in both manufacturing floor operations and office environments</li>
<li>Outstanding communication, relationship building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Fast learner with the ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task</li>

We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:

<li>Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)</li>
<li>Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part does require getting physical!) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to make sure the vehicle maintains safe to drive</li>
<li>Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system</li>
<li>Consistently drive safe and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English</li>
<li>Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat</li>
<li>Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50lbs.</li>
