We&rsquo;re seeking a dedicated Attorney to serve as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in juvenile abuse, neglect, and delinquency cases within the 16th Judicial Circuit. This is a meaningful role where your legal skills directly impact a child&rsquo;s future.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>
Manage and represent CASA/GAL cases in juvenile court.</li><li>
Draft motions, pleadings, and reports advocating for children&rsquo;s best interests.</li><li>
Collaborate with volunteer GALs, Advocate Supervisors, and court partners.</li><li>
Participate in DCFS hearings, staffings, and administrative reviews.</li><li>
Support volunteer and staff training and organizational meetings.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; licensed to practice in Illinois.</li><li>
Strong interest in child welfare and litigation.</li><li>
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.</li><li>
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with solid courtroom presence.</li><li>
(Preferred) 0&ndash;3 years&rsquo; experience in abuse/neglect or related practice.</li></ul>
