Case Farms

<div>OVERVIEW ::
<div>
The Shipping Clerk performs direct tasks involved in the processing and shipping of Case Farms products. The position requires the ability to complete clerical as well as manual labor tasks.</div>
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
<ul><li>Reports directly to Shipping Supervisor.</li><li>
Maintains the Manifest logs, and keeps trailer information up to date.</li><li>
Complete paperwork for USDA-certified loads (Kill Certificates).</li><li>
Prepares bills of lading for outgoing trucks.</li><li>
Handles Phone system in the Shipping office, taking calls from truck drivers, sales department, customers, plant operations, etc.</li><li>
Performs Data Entry of shipping information into system.</li><li>
Handles various office and administrative duties.</li><li>
May be assigned various other duties or projects as needed.</li></ul>
REQUIREMENTS ::
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Experience working in an office setting is preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work in a sitting, standing, or alternating position.</li><li>
Must have effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Must have the ability to train others.</li><li>
Must have a basic understanding of the shipping process.</li><li>
Maintain inventory controls for proper rotation of products to include age, returns, and damaged containers.</li><li>
Above average computer literacy.</li><li>
Communicate with CFS when issues arise with the scanning system or inventory program.</li><li>
Assist in training other employees assigned to the shipping area.</li><li>
Familiar with MS Word and MS Excel.</li></ul>

Shipping Office may or may not be temperature controlled.</li><li>

Shipping Clerk

<div>OVERVIEW ::
<div>
Maintains, services and performs repairs on equipment to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems. Candidates will need to have a working knowledge or the ability to learn hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, industrial electrical applications, and other skillsets associated with maintaining and repairing different kinds of feed mill equipment.</div>
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
<ul><li>Serves as an operations partner in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.</li><li>
Performs regular/scheduled maintenance of production equipment during downtime.</li><li>
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Diagnoses various types of processing and packaging equipment to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs.</li><li>
Identifies problems; Replaces or repairs parts; Adjusts as needed.</li><li>
Aids in reducing or eliminating production downtime due to plant equipment issues.</li><li>
Responds to the line and equipment calls; Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production times.</li><li>
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Performs a variety of building/facilities maintenance and carpentry functions.</li><li>
Detects faulty operations and defective materials; Reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.</li><li>
Consistently follows company policies, safety standards, SOPs, and GMPs.</li><li>
Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.</li><li>
Maintains clean and orderly work areas.</li><li>
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.</li></ul>
REQUIREMENTS ::
<ul><li>High school diploma.</li><li>
Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a food-manufacturing environment preferred.</li><li>
Experience in heavy industrial equipment repair.</li><li>
Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic competency.</li><li>
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.</li><li>
Self-motivated: Ability to work independently.</li><li>
High energy level and a team player.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ::

Work in a noisy environment (&gt;85 decibels) and moving equipment.</li><li>
