Outpatient Mental Health Clinic/Contract Work
About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or PA-C to provide high-quality psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management services to adults age 65 and older in an outpatient setting. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, team-based environment alongside licensed therapists, registered nurses, and administrative professionals dedicated to improving access to mental health care.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments</li>
<li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans</li>
<li>Provide medication management and monitor treatment response</li>
<li>Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation</li>
<li>Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment options</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul><li>Passage of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination</li>
</ul>
or
<ul><li>Current, unrestricted RN and APRN license, certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)</li>
<li>DEA registration</li>
<li>Strong clinical assessment and collaborative abilities</li>
<li>Commitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive care</li>
<li>Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred</li>
</ul>
