JOB SUMMARY
Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a PKI Engineer to support the evaluation, testing, development, deployment, and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions and services in a secure, mission-focused environment. This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must be local to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD area and available to attend in-person meetings as needed.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and sustaining secure PKI architectures, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting critical infrastructure initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative technical team to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-impact cybersecurity solutions supporting government and defense-related missions. 
RESPONSIBILITIES<div><ul><li>
Evaluate, test, develop, deploy, and maintain PKI services and solutions</li><li>
Collaborate with team members to identify improvement opportunities and design efficient, robust solutions</li><li>
Develop automated services to improve usability and streamline PKI processes</li><li>
Support certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, revocation, and policy compliance</li></ul></div> 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications include:<div><ul><li>
Active DoD Secret clearance</li><li>
Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)</li><li>
Hands-on experience designing, setting up, and operating PKI components</li><li>
Experience working with multiple PKI products</li><li>
Knowledge of certificate policies, certificate contents, and the certificate lifecycle</li><li>
Experience automating the certificate lifecycle</li></ul></div> 
Preferred Qualifications:<div><ul><li>
Intermediate to senior-level PKI knowledge</li><li>
Strong Linux experience</li><li>
Solid understanding of asymmetric cryptography concepts and applications</li><li>
Experience supporting Army tactical networks and understanding their operational impacts</li></ul></div>
