 Position Overview:
 
 
 The Caswood Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in a military hospital in GUAM. This position is for a full year with the potential to extend. This role is critical in delivering life-saving, professional nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be committed to the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide a full range of RN duties including patient assessment, monitoring, triage, and the execution of physician orders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Render professional intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, continually assessing for potential life-threatening crises.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recover stable and unstable pediatric patients from general/regional anesthesia and deep sedation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer a wide variety of rapid-acting medications, including direct IV administration, and monitor patient responses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate, troubleshoot, and interpret data from sophisticated equipment such as mechanical ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Formulate and implement goal-directed plans of care, involving the patient/family and ensuring an interdisciplinary approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide emotional support, patient/family education, and discharge instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff development activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate, timely, and concise documentation in both manual and electronic health records (MHS Genesis).
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide clinical oversight and guidance to LPNs/LVNs, nursing assistants, and ancillary personnel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be available for on-call coverage on a rotating basis and may provide RN coverage for medical transports of critically ill children.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Schedule &amp; Hours:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Schedule:&nbsp;365 days/year, 24-hours/day.
 </li>
 <li>
 Shifts:&nbsp;Primarily 12-hour shifts (0645-1915 and 1845-0715).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hours:&nbsp;Up to 400 coverage hours per two-week period.
 </li>
 <li>
 On-Call:&nbsp;Required for one shift every 12 weeks on a rotating basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Holidays:&nbsp;Required to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday shift per year.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Required Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Licensure:&nbsp;Current, active, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state or territory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience:&nbsp;Minimum of 18 months of full-time experience as an RN in a PICU within the last 24 months.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Certifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Basic Life Support (BLS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
 </li>
 <li>
 S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Additional Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Health &amp; Safety:&nbsp;Must meet all MTF health requirements, including immunizations (Varicella, MMR, TDAP, Influenza, Hepatitis B), annual TB screening, and N95 respirator fit-testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Training:&nbsp;Must complete all MTF and DoD-required training (approx. 56 hours of orientation) within 60 days of start.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professionalism:&nbsp;Adhere to strict ethical conduct, Joint Commission standards, and all MTF policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Dress Code:&nbsp;Professional scrubs.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Contractual Details:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 This is a&nbsp;Personal Services&nbsp;arrangement, meaning the RN will be under the direct supervision and schedule of the US Government.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contract personnel are designated as&nbsp;Emergency Essential&nbsp;and must report to work during government furloughs as directed.
 </li>
 <li>
 The position is for a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods.
 </li>
