We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team and oversee our supply chain operations.Job Description:Position Overview:As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist at The Pentagon Food Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of materials, products, and information throughout our supply chain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, monitor inventory levels, and support the delivery of products to our customers.Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management:<ul><li>Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure product availability.</li><li>Plan and execute inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs.</li><li>Implement measures to prevent excess or obsolete inventory.</li></ul>2. Supplier and Vendor Relations:<ul><li>Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and manage relationships.</li><li>Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to secure favourable terms.</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues promptly.</li></ul>3. Order Processing and Fulfilment:<ul><li>Oversee the order processing and fulfilment cycle.</li><li>Ensure orders are accurately processed and shipped to meet customer expectations.</li><li>Manage backorders, returns, and exceptions.</li></ul>4. Data Analysis and Reporting:<ul><li>Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).</li><li>Make data-driven recommendations for process enhancements.</li></ul>5. Quality Assurance:<ul><li>Ensure that all supply chain processes adhere to quality and compliance standards.</li><li>Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits.</li><li>Collaborate with quality teams to resolve any issues promptly.</li></ul>6.
