<div>Description:

This on-site position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington is seeking a receptionist who will function as the first point of contact to Catholic Charities clients requesting assistance from the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
The schedule for this part-time position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, approximately 5 - 6 hours per day, up to 28 hours per week.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Answer and directs telephone calls, schedule appointments, mail requested applications, and refer calls to other community resources and/or programs when appropriate.</li><li>
Manage visitor/client in-person traffic, greet and direct visitors/clients to appropriate personnel. Determine staff availability and manage expectations of walk-in clients.</li><li>
Schedule appointments over the telephone or determine availability of service for walk-in clients.</li><li>
Create/update client files: collect client documents, determine completeness, request additional documents if necessary.</li><li>
Access LIHEAP system to determine status of applications, update system to document client contact.</li><li>
Support Certifiers by copying documents, pulling and/or returning and documenting files.</li><li>
Maintain log of daily operation.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School diploma and one year of experience in a customer facing role or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service including good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and email clients.</li><li>
Demonstrated professional telephone manner, excellent written and verbal communication, and data-entry skills.</li><li>
Ability to work well independently, with excellent skills in teamwork and collaboration.</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information and data.</li><li>
Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and ethnic backgrounds.</li><li>
Willingness to consent to a satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.</li><li>
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic Charities.</li></ul>
