SUMMARYAt Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa), we have a culture deeply rooted in Catholic social teaching and respect all Catholic beliefs and practices.The Subsidy Case Manager for the Child Care Resource Center is responsible for accurately assessing, implementing, and updating a parent&rsquo;s ongoing need for childcare based on eligibility requirements, and seeing that the provider enrollment process for childcare providers is complete.II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES &middot; Assists clients with locating needed services.&middot; Completes FACTS intakes and update client cases as needed.&middot; Continually monitors and verifies clients&rsquo; needs for care.&middot; Verifies accuracy of provider billings and audits childcare clients as needed.&middot; Participates in fraud investigations, initial contacts to support allegations and ongoing contact with the Investigation Department when applicable.&middot; Provides referral lists and history of non-compliance reports to families when requested.&middot; Completes monthly reports reflecting the activity in current caseload.&middot; Acts as a liaison between clients and DHHR personnel.&middot; Works within time frames set by DHHR for new applications, RODCA, client reviews and billings.III. ADDITIONAL DUTIES &middot; Collaborate with DHHR monitoring personnel.&middot; Offer technical assistance to staff, clients and providers when appropriate.&middot; Answers questions and provide training to childcare providers on billing procedures.&middot; Provide program information to clients and providers.&middot; Records contacts with clients and providers in FACTS.&middot; Verifies client&rsquo;s monthly income and work schedules with appropriate business or agency.&middot; Re-issues childcare certificates during status check or as often as needed based on clients need.&middot; Attend case management/Staff meetings as scheduled.&middot; Meets with Social Services and public agencies to foster awareness and develop a working relationship.&middot; Attend State Subsidy Case Manager Conferences when required.&middot; Assumes additional duties as directed by the Subsidy Supervisor and/or Director of the Child Care Resource Center.IV. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide supervisory responsibilities for the following individuals who are employed by the Child Care Resource Center.&middot; No supervisory responsibilities.V. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services or related field or early care and education or child development.&middot; For case management job descriptions that require a four-year degree in a human services or related field, the definition of related fields should include social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, interpersonal communications, elementary or special education, and behavioral science.&middot; Ability to work with people from varied socio-economic backgrounds.&middot; Willingness to work with people of cultural, ethnic and racial diversity.&middot; Ability to maintain confidentiality.&middot; Good written and oral communication skills.&middot; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.VI.
