<p>St. Mary Catholic Classical School in Williamston, Michigan is accepting applications for a part-time Language Arts Middle School teaching position for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must have a love of literature and full comprehension of grammar. Ideal applicants would have course work or personal study in the Catholic classical education or at least have a desire to learn and integrate this approach into their classroom instruction and philosophy. Applicants should have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate or an ability to complete a teacher certification program to achieve licensure. Prior teaching experience is also preferred. Participation in the VIRTUS child protection program will also be required of the successful applicant.</p>
<p>All teachers within the Diocese are ministers of the Church, and this position includes religious instruction as part of the daily curriculum. Therefore, all applicants must be practicing Catholics who are passionate about providing authentic faith formation for their students. Ideal applicants will need to show a sincere love for children, a diligent approach to planning and organizing lessons, a proficient level of classroom management, a commitment to joyful collegiality, an ability to communicate effectively with parents, and a strong foundation in all facets of the curriculum.</p>
