<div>POSITION SUMMARY: Essentially an all purpose Finance Help Desk for the Diocese&rsquo;s Parish Bookkeepers, while maintaining good financial stewardship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assist all parishes within the Diocese as needed with their Financial Reporting and QuickBooks functions. Be available to assist personnel performing those functions.

 Review financials in QVINCI on a regular basis to identify account balances that may need further investigation/attention.

 Conduct internal reviews for diocesan locations

 Provide bookkeeping support and/or services for parishes currently without someone in the position.

 Work with and travel to sites to train new personnel and to provide assistance and ongoing training as needed.

 Attend Mission &amp;amp; Ministry meetings and provide financial data and parish insights.

 Administer QVINCI daily sync. Monitor and handle user access and account mapping.

 Be the primary contact for Skyline (QuickBooks Webhosting site) issues and updates.

 Assist with and speak at MBA meetings.

 Attend monthly staff mass and formation.

 Provide assistance to Controller and Diocesan Finance Officer for special projects and work as needed.

CRITICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

 Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

 Excellent interpersonal communication skills and flexible availability.

 Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.

 Ability to prioritize and to be responsive in a timely manner.

 Ability to maintain confidentiality.

 Ability to present oneself professionally

 Maintain good working relationships, effective communications between parish community and Diocesan Finance Office.

 Excellent knowledge of computers and software.
