This position is focused on operating commercial front-load trucks for waste collection from local businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up, packing, and dumping flip-top dumpsters behind commercial properties, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible waste disposal.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Safely and efficiently operate a commercial front-load truck.</li><li>Start shifts between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, ensuring timely completion of waste collection routes.</li><li>Collect waste from flip-top dumpsters located behind commercial properties, ensuring the truck is properly loaded and waste is compacted.</li><li>Dump waste at designated landfills or transfer stations, following all company guidelines for disposal and safety.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of waste collected, including proper documentation of service completions.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any maintenance issues to management.</li><li>Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and waste management policies.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by ensuring waste is properly collected and bins are returned to the correct location after servicing.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure safe and clean operations.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a front-load truck or similar heavy-duty vehicle (preferred).</li><li>Previous waste management or commercial driving experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients and coworkers.</li><li>Ability to work overnight shifts, beginning between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions.</li><li>Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks and handle heavy waste containers.</li><li>Ability to drive for long periods while maintaining focus and safety.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CDL (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>East Falmouth, MA 02536 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
