</div><div>The position of Merchandising Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support within the merchandising team. Day to day tasks include working with Product Merchants, Product Merchant Assistants and Planning teams with both short term and long term projects, providing direction to partners and all channels for a variety of tasks. They will be responsible for making sure these projects are handled in a clear, efficient way for the brand.
<p><b>This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Chicago, IL office, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.</b></p><p><b>
A day in the life as a </b><b>Merchandising Operations Assistant...</b></p><ul><li><p>
Manage all aspects of purchase orders, including daily maintenance, updating and tracking.</p></li><li><p>
Manage and enter retails for clearance and promotions.</p></li><li><p>
Act as the liaison between the Merchandising team and vendors regarding sample maintenance and tracking.</p></li><li><p>
Work with the planning team in managing the shipment, delivery and tracking of products.</p></li><li><p>
Foster a collaborative and fun work environment within the Merchandising Department focused on distinctive product and an engaged customer experience.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborate with vendors and the Global Partner Operations team on barcode compliance and resolving barcode issues.</p></li><li><p>
Work with the merchandising team, vendors and distribution centers to resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies.</p></li><li><p>
Work with discrepancy reports and various departments to resolve invoicing issues in order to process and initiate charge-backs for discrepancies, as necessary.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor and maintain EMMA messaging through consistent and timely communication with vendors.</p></li><li><p>
Support product manager and product manager assistant with product style-out preparation.</p></li><li><p>
Work with the planning team to generate weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports.</p></li><li><p>
Assist the product manager assistant with maintaining data in the assortment plan, catalog lists, new product lists and in the Virtual Ticket database.</p></li><li><p>
Assist PM and PMA with approval of samples for photography and production.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor e-commerce site for assortment flow, product images and selling information.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, as well as powerpoint</p></li><li><p>
Previous experience in retail or other fashion-related, fast-paced environment</p></li></ul><br>

<b>Starting Rate:</b> $20.00 - $25.00

</div><div>Designers work with customers to help plan and design their spaces. Through elevated designs and delivering on the CB2 Experience (Be Positive. Inspiring. Finding a way), the Designers will maximize company sales growth and profitability. Their expertise, teamwork, passion for design, use of the design tools and creative selling skills will help deliver an amazing experience for the customer.
<p><b>A day in the life as a Designer...</b></p><ul><li>
Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions, and providing elevated design offerings in the store and virtually with customers</li><li>
Create elevated CB2 designs for customers using the preferred design tools to create moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists and style inspiration</li><li>
Lead One on One Design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual design consults. Deliver projects in a timely manner and within determined timelines</li><li>
Possess a clear understanding of the CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel - Store, Online, Catalog</li><li>
Deliver individual sales, KPI and service goals, productivity standards, and engage customers on the sales floor by demonstrating our four steps of selling, as communicated by the store manager.</li><li>
Stays informed with the marketplace and industry trends</li><li>
Actively listen to the customer to best identify which products will best meet their needs and communicate company loyalty services, when applicable. (e.g. designer rewards Design Trade Program, CB2 credit card and gift registry)</li><li>

Understanding of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles</li><li>

Strong affinity for technology (2D and 3D tools, Google suite, video conferencing) and proficient in floor planning</li><li>
Ability to stay up to date on current design trends</li><li>
