Basic Responsibility OverviewResponsible for the daily leadership and operational performance of the inbound Customer Service team and the remote Outbound Sales team. This role is the primary accountability point for team performance, process execution, and culture across both departments. The ideal candidate is a change agent: someone who leads through ambiguity, drives improvement without being asked, and takes full ownership of outcomes.Major Areas of Responsibility<ul><li>Leads and develops both teams.</li></ul>- Manages ~10 customer service associates year-round; up to 20 during peak seasonal periods- Manages 10+ fully remote outbound sales representatives- Conducts regular one-on-ones, coaching sessions, and performance conversations- Maintains accountability for scheduling, attendance, and daily adherence- Supports hiring and onboarding during seasonal ramp periods- Adapts leadership approach to effectively manage across in-office and remote environments<ul><li>Oversees inbound customer service operations.</li></ul>- Monitors daily workflow and team performance against established standards- Tracks call center metrics: volume, abandonment rate, agent availability, break and login adherence- Resolves escalated customer issues in a timely and professional manner- Builds and adjusts staffing schedules based on business demand and seasonal trends<ul><li>Supports and monitors the remote Outbound Sales team.</li></ul>- Maintains visibility into territory activity, rep engagement, and customer coverage- Supports KPI tracking and performance accountability across all sales reps- Partners with leadership to identify inefficiencies and drive corrective action<ul><li>Maintains reporting and operational visibility.</li></ul>- Produces and distributes daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for both departments- Tracks KPI trends and surfaces issues requiring action- Supports development of operational dashboards- Identifies process gaps and drives resolutionQUALIFICATIONSLeadership &amp; Character<ul><li>Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li><li>Functions as a change agent: identifies what isn&rsquo;t working and drives improvement proactively</li><li>Takes full ownership of team outcomes; does not deflect or wait to be directed</li><li>Sets clear expectations and holds people accountable without losing the relationship</li><li>Operates with urgency, consistency, and professionalism across all situations</li></ul>Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Previous leadership or management experience required</li><li>Customer service experience preferred; operational team management strongly preferred</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint</li><li>Ability to learn and navigate ERP and CRM systems; NetSuite experience a plus</li></ul>Education<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred</li></ul>Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 2 years (Required)</li><li>Sales Management: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Lewisburg, TN 37091 (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Lewisburg, TN 37091 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

The position also supports quality resolution, ensures catalog copy accuracy, researches substitute products, and delivers timely reporting with clear, actionable analysis.The ideal candidate will have prior buying experience with a catalog or retail company. They will also need to be detailed in all aspects of the position. This individual must have the ability to not only purchase product but also have an eye and taste to identify strong latest items and categories that appeal to our growing customer base. Experience buying inspirational and religious items, gifts or church supplies is a plus. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Being an incredibly detailed oriented person</li><li>Being aware of our position in the marketplace, our customer base, and our competition. Some creative input as it relates to gift product lines.</li><li>Compiling seasonal list of all new and current products to be listed in the catalog, updating whenever necessary for changes in selection, price, vendor information, and packaging.</li><li>Developing specifications for new products, negotiating with vendors, and following the item through initial production.</li><li>Meeting Key Performance Indicators as they pertain to gross margin, fill rate and discontinued merchandise.</li><li>Help maintain vendor relationship status through proper communication.</li><li>Prepare for product shows and markets relating to sample prep, schematic planning, show set up, displays, power points, training materials.</li><li>Possible domestic travel to trade shows for set up &amp; display.</li><li>Writing, editing, and proofing copy for catalog and corresponding brand website.</li><li>Providing input and direction for catalog page layouts, photography, and e-mail promotions. Reviewing sale and inventory levels to help facilitate clearance efforts.</li><li>Preparation of catalog binder for weekly review. Preparing Concept reviews for approval Preparing Line Reviews for approval</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>3-years relevant work experience</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure, efficiency in working independently as well as team environment. Proofreading skills and efficiency in grammar</li><li>Organizational and time management skills</li><li>MS Word, MS Excel, and email software experience</li><li>College degree preferred.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience:<ul><li>1 - 3 years&rsquo; experience</li><li>Creative product development background Understanding of catalog marketing techniques Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail orientated: committed to getting it right.</li><li>Efficiency in working independently and on cross functional teams. Proofreading skills and efficiency in grammar</li><li>Multi-tasking many projects at a time Organizational skills</li><li>Understanding of aesthetics/composition is a plus.
