Job Purpose / Objective</b><br>
<ul><li>Perform a variety of Human Resources (HR) functions in an effort to drive performance in support of business unit objectives</li><li>Will be primary contact for smaller business unit locations</li></ul></div><div><b>
Essential Functions and Primary Duties</b><br>
<ul><li>Partner with business management in support of business objectives</li><li>Responsible for recruitment process, selection, and assimilation of new hires through on boarding</li><li>Administer performance management system</li><li>Respond to employee relations complaints and harassment allegations in conjunction with HR Director or Corporate HR</li><li>Partner with HRD or DHRD in conducting employee relations counseling and corrective action when necessary in conjunction with hiring manager</li><li>Conduct or facilitate workforce training</li><li>Participate in development and administration of Corporate HR policies, procedures and standards</li><li>Conduct all exit interviews and coordinate unemployment claims</li><li>May be primary user of HRIS</li><li>Maintain compliance with Corporate HR policies, local policies and federal and state employment regulations</li><li>Maintain secure personnel files</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned</li></ul></div><div><b>
Minimum Qualifications Required</b><br>
<ul><li>High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>3 years experience as HR generalist</li><li>PHR/SPHR preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally</li><li>Ability to negotiate and solve problems</li><li>Able to work in team environment</li><li>Proficient in applicable technology</li><li>Strong organizational skills, time management and multi-tasking ability and prioritizing</li><li>Ability to travel as required by business needs</li></ul></div><p><br>

Essential Functions &amp; Primary Duties</b></p></div><ul><li>
Gain an understanding and assist in planning multiple tax assignments in Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing and many more industries</li><li>
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations and individuals</li><li>
Develop tax compliance knowledge and assist with IRS audits, tax notice response, trust returns, gift and estate returns</li><li>
Participate in client assignments from beginning to end</li><li>
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships</li><li>
Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs</li><li>
Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct</li></ul><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred</li><li>
Active participation in student organizations or work experience in accounting or a related field is a plus, but not required</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Working towards a Bachelor's degree</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and tax project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communications skills</li><li>
Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit software</li></ul><div><p><b>
Compensation</b></p></div><div><p>
The hourly rate for this job in this market is $20-$40. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
