As a New Patient Consultant, you are the first voice a patient hears when beginning their fertility journey with CCRM. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role focused on converting new leads into scheduled appointments while delivering exceptional service. You&rsquo;ll help prospective patients understand their options, answer their questions, and set the tone for the compassionate care CCRM is known for.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Do:</h3><ul><li>
Handle high volumes of inbound calls, form submissions, and patient inquiries</li><li>

New Patient Consultant I

<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Molecular Genetic Scientist 
The Molecular Genetic Scientist is a full time benefitted position and will be responsible for performing preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and other molecular procedures in the Genomics Laboratory under the direction of the Scientific and Genetics Director. The Molecular Genetic Scientist must demonstrate knowledge and skills related to the various procedures performed in a PGT Laboratory. This position requires organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, self-motivation, excellent communication skills along with a high level of independent judgment and accuracy. This position entails both independent and strong teamwork as well as fosters cooperative working relationships with other departments. The Molecular Genetic Scientist reports directly to the Scientific and Genetics Director and takes daily direction from a Laboratory Supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>1-3 years of clinical laboratory or scientific research experience in molecular biology required.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Biology required.</li><li>No license required.</li></ul>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Utilize a variety of laboratory techniques required for PGT-A testing, including whole genome amplification and library preparation for Next Generation Sequencing.</li><li>Operate and maintain a liquid handling robot for library preparation.</li><li>Perform DNA extraction from buccal and blood samples.</li><li>Accurate acquisition of incoming embryo biopsy samples.</li><li>Accurately and efficiently, process embryo biopsy samples for whole genome amplification and PGT following the lab standard operating procedures.</li><li>Work to maintain a sterile environment to prevent DNA contamination and eliminate cross contamination between samples.</li><li>Accurately and efficiently analyzes embryo biopsy samples using Next Generation Sequencing, including preparation of results and reports.</li><li>Accurately operates all instruments and equipment and records all information in log/lab books.</li><li>Perform daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance on equipment and instruments per lab standard operating procedures to assure integrity of the PGT Laboratory.</li><li>Perform tasks with meticulous attention to detail to assure accuracy in reported data.</li><li>Ship and document biopsy DNA samples to an outside testing laboratory for sequential PGT testing.</li><li>Accurately and efficiently, complete data entry into Microsoft Office programs to maintain PGT databases.</li><li>Monitor lab reagents to assure needed supplies are available on a daily basis.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by laboratory management.</li></ul>

 This job operates in a professional office and clinical setting with frequent use of medical instrumentation and equipment, supplies and materials. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice, telephones, photocopiers, scanners and filing cabinets.
 The duties of this position involves an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids or tissues or a potential for spills and splashes from them. Appropriate protective measures are required for every employee engaged in these tasks. The duties of this position also involve occasionally exerting up to 35 pounds of force.
 While performing the duties of this job, an employee is regularly required to talk, see and hear. The employee is frequently required to communicate meticulously in written and oral form. How You Will Make an Impact: The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) plays a crucial role in the fertility treatment process and will make a significant impact through patient care, support, assessment, education, and counseling. The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) provides comprehensive care, support, and coordination throughout the IVF journey. Their role is pivotal in helping patients navigate the complexities of fertility treatments while striving for the best possible outcomes.
What You Will Do: The IVF Nurse Coordinator (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to CCRM&rsquo;s fertility patients through treatment coordination, medication management, patient advocacy, and outcome monitoring. This position collaborates closely with the physicians to coordinate patient care and treatment and consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing procedures. The IVF Nurse Coordinator is expected to function independently in the role as well as in a team environment. The IVF Nurse Coordinator reports to the IVF Nurse Supervisor.<ul><li>
Assess patients' medical histories, reproductive health, and any underlying conditions that may impact fertility and ensure appropriate data is entered in EMR.</li><li>
Collaborate with physicians to determine suitable treatment plans for individual patients.</li><li>
Educate patients on the IVF process (procedures, infertility testing, insemination, in vitro (IVF) fertilization, FET, and egg vitrification, etc.), medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle factors that may affect treatment success.</li><li>
Provide emotional support and counseling to each patient throughout their CCRM Journey.</li><li>
Guide patients on how to self-administer medications and monitor progress; adjust medication dosages based on patients' responses and communicate any concerns to the medical team.</li><li>
Coordinate and schedule surgery and ART appointments, diagnostic tests, and procedures, and ensure all consents are signed and patients adhere to the treatment timeline.</li><li>
Monitor established pregnancies via ultrasonography and lab tests, through the first 8-12 weeks of pregnancy (annotated in EMR).</li><li>
Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team, relaying vital information, test results, and treatment instructions; answering any questions or concerns promptly.</li><li>
Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are taken into consideration and help patients make informed decisions about their care.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all aspects of the IVF treatment in the EMR (i.e., medication administration, test results, progress notes, physician orders, etc.).</li><li>
Ensure patients understand results, discuss potential reasons for failure, and explore alternative treatment options or modifications to the treatment plan.</li><li>
Perform intrauterine inseminations, as directed.</li><li>
Verify all communicable disease testing is complete, accurate, and appropriate.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
What You Bring:<ul><li>
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, from an accredited school of nursing required.</li><li>
Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license (without limitations) required.</li><li>
Active BCLS/ACLS certification required.</li><li>
3+ years RN experience preferred.</li><li>
2+ years of previous experience in women&rsquo;s health, fertility, OB/GYN, preferred.</li></ul>
