Position Summary
This position supports the execution of construction projects by assisting project managers in overseeing planning, financial tracking, subcontractor management, and quality control efforts to meet business, client, and operational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Collaborates with preconstruction teams to support project estimating, cost control, and schedule development.</li><li>
Reviews and coordinates scopes of work, ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and project objectives.</li><li>
Prepares and reviews submittals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.</li><li>
Compiles and analyzes pay applications, change requests, and other financial documents related to project progress.</li><li>
Participates in subcontractor bidding, evaluations, and award recommendations, including the preparation of proposals.</li><li>
Assists in contract administration, including monitoring deliverables and compliance with contract terms.</li><li>
Oversees time tracking and reporting in coordination with field supervision and administrative staff to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policy.</li><li>
Communicates and coordinates with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to support project alignment and timely decision-making.</li><li>
Organizes and facilitates project meetings to address coordination, material needs, and labor concerns.</li><li>
Drafts correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.</li><li>
Maintains and updates resource data including vendor contacts, material specifications, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Assists with or coordinates material procurement and delivery to ensure field teams have the resources needed.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.</li></ul>
Education and Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.</li><li>
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical or general construction project coordination or management.</li><li>
Prior electrical estimating experience is a plus.</li><li>
Journeyman Electrician&rsquo;s License is a plus.</li><li>
Strong computer literacy and comfort working with project management and estimating tools.</li></ul>
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities<ul><li>
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.</li><li>
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam, Accubid, and scheduling software.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, technical specifications, and schematics.</li><li>
Proficient in construction takeoffs and basic estimating.</li><li>
Working knowledge of electrical construction materials and practices.</li><li>
High attention to detail with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.</li><li>
Demonstrated leadership capability and a commitment to a safety-first culture.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li></ul>

This job may work inside or outside with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and weather elements in restricted or confined spaces, and on slippery or uneven surfaces. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Possess good vision, normal or corrected. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision to discern color coded wires, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
</li><li>Possesses good hearing, normal or corrected.
</li><li>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest), as needed.
</li><li>Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.</li><li>
Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.</li></ul>
