Job Summary</b><b>:</b></div><div>
The QC engineer makes sure the quality of delivered products/services for assigned areas (including all quality-documentation, which is performed by third parties) is in accordance with the set (project) demands.
</div><div><b>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b>:</div><div>
This job description represents the primary areas of responsibility; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.</div><div>

Carrying out (or having carried out) (interim) quality inspections and inspections at suppliers and/or on site;</li><li>
Ensures that the right level of quality is achieved at suppliers through knowledge transfer, corrective actions;</li><li>
Can justify the achieved quality level to own organization and customer.</li><li>
Advises on quality matters in drawing up contracts and the quality-policy to achieve or maintain the desired quality level;</li><li>
Shows ownership regarding continuous improvement by confronting and motivating employees;</li><li>
Analyzing of problems within their own area of work.</li><li>
Advising on the improvement process.</li><li>
verifying the results in the improvement process,</li><li>
making amendment proposals,drawing up inspection requirements and methods,</li><li>
describing special processes, making a distinction between processes already known or in use and new processes as soon as there is a need for them.</li><li>
Audits and assesses suppliers for suitability (in collaboration with Procurement and QC Manager).</li><li>
Coordinates investigations into complaints and deviations, such as Non-conformities (NCR) related to products supplied, on behalf of CECO.Is the point of contact for customers regarding quality-technical matters.</li><li>
Supports the QC manager in the management and deployment of QC inspectors/TAs (partly hired staff).</li><li>
Ensures proper safety certification for &ldquo;site&rdquo; personnel.</li><li>
(Having) drawn up all necessary quality documentation, efficiently, on time and in accordance with the (project) requirements.</li><li>
Carrying out and assessing quality inspections, possibly using the expertise of third parties, including NDE and Destructive testing.</li><li>
Accompany customers during audits/visits at our suppliers.</li><li>
Is responsible for the practical implementation of the safety policy on location:</li><li>
Draws up and manages project/product TRAs;</li><li>
Conducts safety audits;</li><li>
Ensures the use of the correct tools and safety equipment.</li><li>
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Education And Experience</b><b>:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor degree (e.g. in Engineering)
</li><li>5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
</li><li>Has demonstrable, extensive experience in independently inspecting and assessing products, also on location abroad.</li></ul><p></p><div><b><br>

KNOWLEDGE IN:</b></div><ul><li>
Material - Material types and material properties, material certifications and standards and technical specifications is required.</li><li>
Customer and Personal Service (intercultural skills, service minded) &mdash; Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Microsoft Office Suite; ERP systems, ADP, Epicor and/or D365 is beneficial. Familiarity with EPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, etc.) preferred.</li><li>
Law and Government-Knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations, agency rules and QC codes.</li><li>
Engineering and Technology &mdash; Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.</li><li>
Design &mdash; Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.</li><li>
Mechanical &mdash; Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</li><li>
Materials &mdash; Knowledge of material science, including their properties and interaction with other products in the system.</li><li>
English Language-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.</li><li>
Measurement - measuring equipment, calibration and the application of the equipment;</li></ul><div><b>
