Position Summary:
The Dining Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests by providing courteous and efficient table service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and ensuring dining areas are welcoming and sanitary. This role supports daily meal service as well as special events, assists with food preparation and cost control, and collaborates with team members to uphold Cedarhurst&rsquo;s dining standards. The Dining Server also communicates effectively with residents and families, responds to individual dining needs, and contributes to a safe and positive environment that reflects the company&rsquo;s commitment to quality service and resident wellbeing.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring smooth execution and resident satisfaction.</li><li>
Promptly take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area by washing pots, pans, and utensils used in meal preparation, following all food safety standards.</li><li>
Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; dispose of trash and clean containers; and complete daily checklists to ensure kitchen and dining areas are consistently maintained.</li><li>
Assist with cleaning dining areas, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events, and ensure sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping are completed at the end of each shift.</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of assigned responsibilities and adapt service to meet individual resident dining preferences and needs.</li><li>
Support cost-control efforts by minimizing waste and using supplies responsibly.</li><li>
Accurately follow recipes and ingredient labels to ensure proper preparation and consistency of food and beverages.</li><li>
Safely operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment and utensils in accordance with safety guidelines.</li><li>
Demonstrate knowledge of dining menus and effectively communicate menu details to residents and guests.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain table settings to meet Cedarhurst&rsquo;s established dining standards and create a welcoming atmosphere.</li><li>
Maintain current knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, state, county, local) and ensure full adherence to all food handling and sanitation guidelines.</li><li>
Follow Cedarhurst infection control guidelines and uphold safety standards to protect residents, guests, and staff.</li><li>
Apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions) to accurately perform dining-related tasks.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support positive relationships and ensure residents&rsquo; physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.</li><li>
Collaborate with team members, follow management direction, and demonstrate initiative in resolving conflicts and promoting a respectful, supportive dining environment.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.</li><li>
Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required by the state in which employed.</li><li>
CPR or BLS certification preferred.</li><li>
Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.</li></ul>
Working Conditions:<ul><li>
This position may need to walk or stand for extended periods and move throughout the community, resident apartments, and other areas of the community.</li><li>

Position Summary:
The Concierge, reporting directly to the Executive Director, serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional customer service experience. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, organized, and supportive community environment by monitoring entry and exit points, assisting with resident needs, coordinating communications, and supporting daily operations. In addition to managing front desk responsibilities, the Concierge provides clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director, Business Office, and Sales &amp; Marketing teams, helping to maintain smooth community operations and a positive resident experience.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Welcome residents, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and assistance to those entering the community.</li><li>

Position Summary:
The Business Office Manager, reporting directly to the Executive Director, plays a key role within the community and organization. This position is responsible for supporting the Executive Director and collaborating with other department heads to serve residents and their families, while also serving as the point of contact for community employees with questions or concerns. In addition, the Business Office Manager manages the financial and human resource duties within the community and functions as the primary contact for billing and onboarding processes.
Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Manage the functions of the business office, including assisting with marketing activities, conducting tours, and participating in community events.</li><li>
Participate in planning and implementing strategies established for the efficient and effective operation of the community.</li><li>
Prepare financial and operational reports on a regular basis (monthly or weekly) to provide insights to the Executive Director or Home Office.</li><li>
Serve as principal telephone and office receptionist, as necessary.</li><li>
Perform management duties in the absence of the Executive Director</li><li>
Manage HR tasks, including applicant tracking system (ATS) management, onboarding, training, and reporting workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal policies.</li><li>
Maintain employee timecards and ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data to Human Resources.</li><li>
Reconcile credit card transactions, including coding receipts and providing relevant transaction information.</li><li>
Submit change requests to Home Office timely as resident billing and activity occur, providing comprehensive supporting documentation.</li><li>
Track and bill resident accounts for one-time charges in the property management system.</li><li>
Act as the primary point of contact for residents and their families handling billing, contract questions, payment issues and other business-related inquiries, delivering excellent customer service and support.</li><li>
Assist at residents/POAs request with submissions of invoices to LTC insurance.</li><li>
Manage and maintain accurate and compliant resident and employee files.</li><li>
Order office supplies as needed.</li><li>
Ensure effective communication is being utilized by community staff with the residents&rsquo; families concerning residents&rsquo; care, encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing.</li><li>
