Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation</li><li>
Gather personnel records from other departments or employees</li><li>
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management</li><li>
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records</li><li>
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately</li><li>

POSITION SUMMARY:</b></div><div>
Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and industrial processing systems.</div>

Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications</li><li>
Inspect worksite to determine presence of obstructions and to determine that holes will not cause structural weakness</li><li>
Plan sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers</li><li>
Cut pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine</li><li>
Thread pipe using threading machine</li><li>
Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending machine</li><li>
Assemble and install a variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including: brass, copper, lead, glass and plastic</li><li>
Join pipe by means of threaded, caulked, wiped, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints</li><li>
Use hand tools to secure pipe to structure with clamps, brackets and hangers</li><li>
Install and maintain refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, including: compressors, pumps, meters, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and piping</li><li>
Test piping system for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks</li><li>
Weld holding fixtures to structural steel members</li><li>

Qualifications:

Read and interpret measuring tools such as, tape measure, speed square, framing square etc. in order to perform task accurately.</li><li>
Fully Understand Plant North and drawing coordinates.</li><li>

Directly supervise and coordinate daily activities of craft workers</li><li>
Complete ESRs for all employees with a change in job status (transfer, laid off, terminated)</li><li>
Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen</li><li>
Manage up to six or more employees and Foreman</li><li>
Conduct regular performance reviews</li><li>
Train and mentor new workers</li><li>
Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor</li></ul>
Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</b></div><ul><li>
4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>
Plus 3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)</li><li>
High school diploma or GED preferred</li></ul><div><b>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</b></div><ul><li>
Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.</li><li>
When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.</li><li>

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals</li><li>
Add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement and volume</li><li>

Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards</li><li>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:</b></div><ul><li>
Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.</li><li>
May need to maintain physical strength and stamina; Use arms, hands, and legs fully; Push, pull, and frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and climb to perform job tasks.</li><li>
Stamina to perform this task repetitively and continuously for several hour intervals.</li><li>
Uncontrolled environmental conditions: Constant change in weather and site conditions.</li><li>
