Job Summary:

Maintenance Support at Five Star Park &amp; Attractions is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of go-karts and track functionality. The role involves ensuring optimal safety for staff and guests while delivering a fun experience. The Maintenance Support is professionally accountable for the smooth operation and upkeep of go-karts.
 
 
Accountabilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform diversified duties and repairs to maintain go-karts.</li>
<li>Provide unscheduled repairs for attractions when issues arise.</li>
<li>Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of go-karts, following daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checklists to ensure safety and proper lubrication.</li>
<li>Adhere to procedures and guidelines set forth by the manufacturer in all maintenance work on attractions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules specified by manufacturers.</li>
<li>Keep comprehensive documentation, including repair logs, annual inspections, NDT testing, and grease bearings/bearings monitoring.</li>
<li>Perform In Season checklists.</li>
<li>Apply mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of attractions.</li>
<li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.</li>
<li>Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and rattle can paint guns.</li>
<li>Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report them to proper supervision.</li>
<li>Comply with OSHA safety regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li>
<li>Regularly review processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.</li></ul> 
 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Foster a positive safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors at all times.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with Five Star Parks and Attractions' standards.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>
<li>Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts.</li></ul> 
 
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High school or equivalent education required. Associate&rsquo;s Degree or related technical school degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a maintenance-related position.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses, certificates, or permits.</li>
<li>All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.</li>
<li>Highly organized with a strong work ethic.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a loud environment.</li>
</ul>
