The Team:

You will be joining our global Digital and Marketing Operations organization, a central function that enables our global marketing teams to run efficiently and effectively. Our team's mission is to empower all marketing functions, from Field to Brand, with the technology, data, and processes they need to succeed.

The Role: 
 
As a Senior Applied AI Engineer you will be a key player in building and deploying practical, internal-facing AI solutions that significantly boost the efficiency and effectiveness of our global marketing organization. This is a hands-on, executional role in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. You will translate strategic needs into tangible tools that save time, improve data quality, and enable our marketing teams to better serve our customers. You will have a direct impact on how our marketing organization operates, making it more intelligent and data-driven. 
 
The work you'll do:

<li>Design and build AI-powered solutions to automate key marketing tasks. This includes creating AI agents to assist with creative brief routing and content translation.</li>
<li>Develop and implement hybrid solutions that leverage AI to augment human workflows, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.</li>
<li>Create and manage API integrations to automate data ingestion from various marketing platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Monday.com) into custom built AI solutions.</li>
<li>Improve CRM data quality and integrity by developing tools for automated lead-to-account matching, duplicate record removal, and data enrichment.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Brand and Communications to build AI solutions for content generation (e.g., press releases, social media copy) and real-time market trend analysis.</li>
<li>Measure and optimize the business impact of your solutions, ensuring they deliver measurable efficiency gains for our teams.</li>
<li>Proactively research and recommend new AI tools and technologies to drive future efficiency and innovation.</li>
</ul>
The qualifications you need:
<ul>
<li>5-7 years of experience in a development or engineering role, with hands-on experience in building and deploying production-level applications, bots, or automated workflows.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages like Javascript and a strong understanding of its libraries for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas).</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with AI/automation frameworks and platforms such as Langchain, Make, Zapier, or similar tools.</li>
<li>Experience with API development and integration using REST and GraphQL.</li>
<li>A strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and a proven ability to apply advanced prompt engineering principles to solve business problems.</li>
<li>A strong sense of ownership and a &quot;product-oriented&quot; mindset, with the ability to build user-centric and scalable solutions.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused language for non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (MarTech) such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo is a significant advantage.</li>
<li>Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment is a plus.</li>

The Team

The Celonis Business Apps IT is a team of product enthusiasts and data engineers that focuses on developing best-in class composable AI solutions in the domain of System Transformations (migrations such as SAP ECC to S/4, introduction of new software, system landscape consolidation, etc.). Business Apps are purpose-built solutions created for a specific line of business, addressing most impactful pain points in their respective domain. The solutions are best practice examples of how Celonis is used in new, innovative ways that push the boundaries of our platform. The team has a great balance of technical skills to build solutions paired with a customer focus and product management mindset to create meaningful products widely adopted across our customer base.

The Role

We're looking for a hybrid between a product manager and an engineer. Someone who can sit with a customer, understand a transformation pain point, and then go design and build the solution together with the rest of the team rather than handing it off. You'll operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where shipping quickly matters more than perfect process, and where the line between &quot;designing the product&quot; and &quot;building the product&quot; is intentionally blurry. You get hands-on: prototyping on the platform, wiring up data, composing AI-driven applications, and iterating directly with the people who'll use them.

You'll be at the frontier of how Celonis reimagines enterprise system transformation. Turning a bold vision into working products that customers adopt. If you're energized by owning something end-to-end, moving fast, and being measured by what you ship rather than what you spec, this is for you.

The work you'll do

Your mission is to make the vision of AI powered system transformation a reality. Building products that turn the cutting edge capabilities of the Celonis Process Intelligence platform from strategy into solutions customers run on.

<li>Build and ship purpose-built but flexible solutions that span the full enterprise modernization journey</li>
<li>Leverage the most cutting-edge capabilities of the Celonis platform and compose them into coherent, deployable solutions</li>
<li>Work hands-on with frontier AI development tools that plug natively into the platform, using them to accelerate how you build, enrich, and deploy solutions</li>
<li>Move fluidly between customer, prototype, and production: discover the pain point, build the thing, put it in front of users, and iterate fast</li>
<li>Drive all steps within the product development lifecycle from ideation to product development to scaling solutions across all Celonis customers</li>
<li>Partner with platform product managers, engineers and partners to influence the underlying Celonis capabilities your solutions depend on</li>
<li>Collaborate with GTM, UX, and customers to ensure what you build actually gets adopted and scales across the customer base</li>

The qualifications you need
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a product engineer, technical product manager, founding/forward-deployed engineer, functional consultant or comparable hybrid builder role</li>
<li>A track record of building coherent product offerings, not just isolated features. You think in terms of the whole solution and how the pieces fit together</li>
<li>Technical and tech-savvy: comfortable in data (SQL, PQL, Python, MCP, Agents), able to prototype and build, and quick to pick up new tools and platforms</li>
<li>Preferrably, demonstrated knowledge in SAP system composition (functional and/or SAP base)</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of what it means to modernize applications and whole enterprise system landscapes</li>
<li>Knowledge of enterprise architecture (system landscapes, capabilities, integrations) is a plus</li>
<li>Thrives in ambiguity with an entrepreneurial mindset. Self-directed, biased toward action, and able to make progress without a fully defined roadmap</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the willingness to work very closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders</li>

The Team: 
 
The Celonis Value Engineering (VE) team is focused on managing the entire customer value lifecycle, from sales through value realization, renewal and expansion. As a Head of Value Engineering, you will lead a dynamic team who come from a variety of backgrounds to identify, frame and deliver value to our customers.

As the Head of Value Engineering for the Benelux region, you will lead a team of Value Engineers and drive end-to-end customer value journeys, landing and expanding existing customers (ACV growth) and renewals (renewal rate).
