 Junior Legal Counsel, Data Privacy

 Position Summary
 
 
 
 
 The
 
 Junior Legal Counsel - Data Privacy
 
 will support the Legal Department's global data privacy and information governance program. This role will contribute to the development, implementation, and operationalization of privacy policies, procedures, and workflows within a growing international organization. This role is ideal for an early-career attorney with a strong interest in privacy, technology, and regulatory compliance. This role will work closely with and learn from our Data Privacy Compliance Analyst.
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
 </li>
 <li>
 2-4 years of legal experience (law firm or in-house)
 </li>
 <li>
 Foundational knowledge of data privacy and cybersecurity laws
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to translate legal requirements into practical business guidance
 </li>
 <li>
 Privacy coursework, certifications, or internships
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with consumer-facing digital products, marketing data, or e-commerce
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with FTC, state AG enforcement, or international privacy regimes
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist with implementation, operationalization and maintenance of data privacy compliance programs (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA/CPRA, and other global privacy laws)
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and assist in drafting privacy policies, notices, and internal procedures to support business expansion (e.g., employee privacy notices, website privacy notices and cookie policies)
 </li>
 <li>
 Support privacy assessments, data mapping, and records of processing activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and assist in negotiating vendor agreements, and including data processing addenda (DPAs), CCPA addenda, and related privacy provisions
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with incident response and data breach investigations under supervision
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in developing and operationalizing privacy intake forms to support responses to data subject access requests (DSARs)
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor developments in privacy laws and regulations and summarize impacts for the business
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with IT, marketing, procurement, and security teams on privacy-related initiatives

 The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.  As the Field Marketing Manager, you'll be the face of the brand on the ground, driving awareness and engagement for Alani Nu. This is your opportunity to bring national marketing strategies to life through dynamic local experiences that connect directly with consumers.  Experience
 
 : 5+ years in grassroots and brand marketing, preferably in CPG, food, or beverage; 3+ years of team management or field leadership experience
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Education
 
 : Bachelor's degree preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in community engagement, event marketing, and project management
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with local events and cultural moments that drive community engagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and work cross-functionally under tight deadlines
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
 </li>

 Willingness to adapt to changing business needs

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>

 Execute 360&deg; marketing plans aligned with national and regional goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and nurture relationships with local influencers, media, and community partners
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and manage local sponsorships and brand partnerships
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead consumer sampling programs and evaluate performance for continuous improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Recruit, train, and manage a team of part-time Brand Ambassadors
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Sales and distributor teams to drive retail visibility and in-store conversion
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and manage annual marketing plans, budgets, product forecasting, and campaign reporting
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee market operations including warehouse, inventory, and vehicle logistics
 </li>
 <li>
 Process invoices and manage expenses in coordination with Finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Support additional marketing and sales initiatives as needed
 </li>

 The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Celsius is a total rewards company.
