<div>PURPOSE OF POSITION 
The Material Handler / Saw Operator is responsible for handling, cutting, and preparing steel materials to support production operations in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
The duties listed below are representative of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
More specifically, the individual will:<ul><li>
Handle and process steel materials according to production requirements.</li><li>
Operate saw equipment to cut steel to specified dimensions.</li><li>
Punch and drill holes in steel components as required.</li><li>
Accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure proper measurements and cuts.</li><li>
Utilize common shop tools safely and effectively.</li><li>
Load and unload materials using a forklift.</li><li>
Organize and stage materials for production use.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.</li></ul>

EDUCATION &ndash; EXPERIENCE &ndash; COMPUTER SKILLS</h2><div><ul><li>
High School Diploma/ GED.</li><li>
Certificate or degree in welding preferred.</li><li>
Welding knowledge through experience or vocational training.</li><li>
Ability to pass a preliminary weld test.</li><li>
1 &ndash; 2 years&rsquo; experience welding, cutting, and/or fabricating metal parts.</li><li>
Experience in wire feed welding, MIG or TIG welding.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.</li></ul></div>

Must be able to work up to 15 feet off the ground, to work inside of bins on units, to climb ladders on occasion.</li><li>
