Position Summary:

The DVRT Coordinator is responsible for the management of volunteers and interns to provide 24-hour accompaniments and advocacy services to victims/survivors of domestic violence. The DVRT Coordinator reports directly to the Program Supervisor.

Location: Cumberland County, NJ

Job Type/Status: Full-Time
Salary: $25 to $28 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Provide training and education to new and existing volunteers and staff and in-service trainings to law enforcement.</li><li>
Support and manage volunteers and interns to insure quality domestic violence services are provided to victims.</li><li>
Ensure hotline schedule is covered by calling volunteers and soliciting their services to assist survivors.</li><li>
Provide 24-hour back up for hotline calls &amp; accompaniments to address problems with activations.</li><li>
Address concerns with Unusual Occurrences for activations/accompaniments.</li><li>
Market SERV program and volunteer opportunities throughout Gloucester County.</li><li>
Facilitate quarterly Domestic Violence Liaison Officer Meetings and monthly Volunteer meetings.</li><li>
Develop quarterly newsletter and monthly meetings and training's for volunteers and staff.</li><li>
Interview potential volunteers, complete reference checks on volunteers, maintain volunteer files, and submit volunteer stipend to finance.</li><li>
Collect activation statistics and complete reports for required funding sources.</li><li>
Complete program statistics forms pertaining to volunteer hours and services provided to victims for advocate certification.</li><li>
Attend County DV Working Group meetings, NJCEDV meetings, DVRT Coordinator meetings and other community meetings.</li><li>
Revise and update volunteer handbook, resource manual and training manual</li><li>
Carry out other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor to ensure success of SERV program</li></ul>

REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>
The DVRT Coordinator must successfully complete 60-hour New Jersey State Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate and Domestic Violence Response Team and Anti-Trafficking (HT) training provided by Services Empowering Rights of Victims (SERV).</li><li>
The DVRT Coordinator must have experience working with people, especially on a one-to-one basis, demonstrated sensitivity toward the needs of victims, and to be able to provide training and education to new and existing volunteers and staff.
</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills and public speaking is required.
</li><li>A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Criminal Justice or Human Services is mandatory.</li><li>
Experience in supervision or management is preferred.</li></ul>

Position Summary:

The Center for Family Service is looking for a Part time Cleaning Crew Member. The Cleaning Crew primary role is to ensure all bathrooms and common areas are clean and ready to receive clients and all garbage is removed. We are looking for someone who has a few extra hours in the morning or each evening who desires some extra income to help keep our State and personal contracts clean. Night cleaning teams and morning teams are needed to ensure bathrooms and common spaces are clean and ready to receive our clients the next morning. This usually involves only a few hours a morning or evening.
Location: Washington, NJ (Warren County)

Job Type/Status: Part-Time (24 hours per week)

Salary: $25 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Complete intake assessments as assigned.</li><li>
Provide therapeutic services including but not limited to individual, group therapies, psycho-education, and social skills training.</li><li>
Provide IMR (Illness Management and Recovery) services.</li><li>
Provide Pre-Vocational services.
</li><li>Provide supervision, monitoring and development of a designated psychiatric pre-vocational unit as assigned.</li><li>
Maintain up to date documentation in consumer clinical files and complete all documentation within agency and state licensing guidelines.</li><li>
Coordinate care with agency medical staff, providing ongoing feedback regarding consumers' mental status, response to treatment and medications.</li><li>
Ensure coordination between agency, medical staff and other medical staff involved in treatment of the consumer.</li><li>
Complete referrals and coordinate care for consumers with both in house and outside service providers and agencies such as probation, social service agencies, residential providers, self-help centers, etc.</li><li>
Schedule and facilitate joint treatment team meetings as needed with other service providers to ensure that services are coordinated.</li><li>
Take an active role in PC treatment team meetings and share information regarding consumer, program and community issues with treatment team members.</li><li>
Participate in clinical supervision with assigned supervisor on a regular basis.</li><li>
Provide transportation to consumers as assigned.</li><li>
Provide crisis intervention services to consumers in program, for voluntary hospitalization or referral to screening services for involuntary hospitalization.</li><li>
Provide outreach services to consumers as needed.
</li><li>Be familiar with community resources and refer clients as indicated.</li><li>
Provide relapse prevention planning for consumers.</li><li>
Make self available to meet the changing needs of the program.</li><li>
Develop comprehensive Recovery Plans with consumers in conjunction with other partial care treatment team members, consumers, family members, and/or significant others as permitted by consumer.</li><li>
Provide Wellness and Recovery Services to consumers with a focus on treating the whole individual, both their physical and mental health.</li><li>
Provide psycho-education to clients, family members and significant others as permitted by consumer and referrals to the IFSS program as appropriate.</li><li>
Responsible for Utilization Review (UR) for consumers covered under managed care insurance companies.</li><li>
Take responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.</li><li>
Obtain and maintain pre-vocational certification.
</li><li>Participates in Center and Program performance improvement activities.</li></ul>
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>
Possess a bachelor's degree in a human services field, or an associate's degree</li><li>
Two years' experience in providing human services, or five years of human service experience, or possess a relevant professional credential, such as Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, bachelor's degree in social work, certified rehabilitation counselor, certified alcohol and drug counselor, bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, or bachelor of science in nursing.</li></ul>

POSITION SUMMARY:

Center For Family Services is seeking a motivated, flexible, outgoing Case Manager for the Kinship Wraparound Program. The Case Manager is responsible for case management services for the Kinship program including, but not limited to: strong child/home assessment skills, investigating, verifying &amp; documenting information gathered from home visits; keeping accurate records; providing home visits to all referred Kinship Care families; preparing reports; making appropriate referrals to community services; maintaining strong working relationship with the court system, DCP&amp;P and other community partners by acting as an inter-agency and community liaison. Duties and Responsibilities:

Regard all information about clients as confidential</li><li>
Provide home visits to all referred Kinship Care families, maintaining respect for clients at all times</li><li>
Provide direct service in assisting eligible kinship caregivers with application for legal guardianship and eligibility for the Kinship Care Subsidy Program</li><li>
Complete and submit court assessment(s) to the appropriate Superior Court, Family Part</li><li>
Secure proper documentation to verify relationship, residence, age, and income</li><li>
Complete a home study, to include but not limited to: an interview with the caregiver, and all adult members of the household; a tour of the caregiver's home, (including the outside grounds); and, an observation and interview with the relative children</li><li>
Arrange for criminal history, domestic violence, and child abuse record background checks of all adults living in the caregiver's home</li><li>
Prepare written reports to the State documenting findings from the investigation
</li><li>Provide case management including problem-solving, consultation, interviewing, coordination of services, appropriate community referral when indicated, advocacy and detailed record keeping of client progress, and preparing reports related to the provision of service</li><li>
Promote and recruit families to program</li><li>

Requirements:

Position Summary:
The Case Manager provides screening, assessment, advocacy and ongoing case management for homeless families placed in Shelter for those that are transitioning back to the community. The Case Manager assist with assessments, discussion of goals, establish a service plan to meet the goals, follow up, provide advocacy, modeling and tools needed to overcome barriers. Documentation on all interaction with details, referrals, outcomes and next step.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Provide intake, screening, assessments, shelter housing placement paperwork and ongoing monitoring for candidates.</li><li>
Provide participant intake, address immediate needs, assessments, and ongoing goal setting and monitoring.
</li><li>Assist participants to establish stable housing by helping them develop problem solving and goal setting skills. Connect with resources for housing: VISPDAT and Tenant Ready Curriculum</li><li>
