Medical Assistant &ndash; Multi-Location Travel Role Full-Time | $19&ndash;$23 per hour | South JerseyTRAVEL REQUIRED &ndash; This position requires regular travel to all Premier Orthopaedic Associates locations throughout South Jersey. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained specialists are leaders in minimally invasive treatments and advanced surgical procedures.We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while continuing to grow and serve our community.Position SummaryThe Medical Assistant is an integral part of our clinical team, directly supporting orthopaedic providers and delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical assistance, and administrative responsibilities in a busy orthopaedic setting.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Travel to and support all South Jersey locations as assigned</li><li>Room patients and ensure a professional, welcoming experience</li><li>Obtain patient histories and vital signs; accurately document in EMR</li><li>Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures</li><li>Prepare and draw injections for provider administration</li><li>Assist with suture/staple removal and casting (training provided)</li><li>Prepare and maintain examination rooms and sterile equipment (including autoclave)</li><li>Facilitate orders including physical therapy scripts, labs, and drug testing protocols</li><li>Assist patients with mobility during examinations</li><li>Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA</li><li>Lift and transport medical supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Frequent bending, squatting, standing, and walking</li><li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods when required</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive clinical tasks</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar)</li><li>1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment</li><li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel to all POA locations</li></ul>Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is confident assisting providers independently, comfortable supporting minor procedures, and able to work under pressure while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
