The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 May contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system. Also supports Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes which includes effective communication with patients and providers. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, andworks under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

The Certified Pharmacy Technician takes in-bound phone calls from patients and providers. Enter prescription orders into the system. Also support Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational programs developed to improve health outcomes which includes effective communication with patients and providers. Typically focus decisions on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Position Hours: An 8-hour shift Monday-Friday from 8am - 4:30pm EST<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

</h1>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence (Ohio, Arizona or Florida)</li><li>
Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or through ExCPT</li><li>
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting</li><li>
Critical thinker who can anticipate member/customer needs and take initiative, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality customer experience</li><li>
Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meets member/customer needs, absent from all ideal resources</li><li>
Moderate working knowledge of Excel</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Working knowledge of RxNova, CRM and/or ScriptMed</li><li>
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously and strong data entry skills</li></ul>

Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician

As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.
Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 4813 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegans, NV 89119.
As a Receptionist you will perform clinical tasks such as:<ul><li>
You will greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.</li><li>
You will schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.</li><li>
You will maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.</li><li>
You will update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.</li><li>
You will handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.</li><li>
You will keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.</li><li>
You will help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered</li><li>
Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls</li><li>
Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow</li><li>
Experience using tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization</li><li>
Experience improving patient care and experience</li><li>
This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.</li></ul>
