Centerpoint Medical Center seeks an inpatient neurohospitalist to join their growing team located in Independence, Missouri. 
 
Qualified Candidates:<ul><li>
Physicians will be based in Independence supporting Centerpoint Medical Center's inpatient service</li><li>
Vascular/stroke fellowship trained or experienced neurohospitalist physicians preferred</li><li>
100% inpatient role</li><li>
Flexible scheduling; option for 7 on 7 off schedule or 180 shifts annually</li><li>

HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties. The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators. The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with various subspecialty interests within a general neurosurgery practice.</li><li>
Our program includes one comprehensive stroke center with four primary stroke centers across the South Kansas City corridor.</li><li>
Achieved TJC Certified Primary Stroke Center, seeing over 1,000 patients a year</li><li>
Awarded American Heart Association Get With the Guidelines top award achiever: 2023 Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll</li><li>

Practice is recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home</li><li>
Group consists of two primary care physicians and four advanced practice providers</li><li>
Call is shared within group 1:6</li><li>
