Pain management is a specialty &mdash; <b>but you do NOT need pain management experience to succeed here</b>.</p>
<p>
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient pain management practice. This is an office‑based role focused on scheduled outpatient visits, patient education, and collaborative care.</p>
<p>
✅ No pain management experience required<br>
✅ ~2 weeks of hands‑on initial training<br>
✅ <b>Daily, ongoing access to supervising physicians</b><br>
✅ Collaborative environment &mdash; you are never practicing alone</p>

Our patients live with chronic pain and often need providers who listen, explain, and guide them through their care.</p>

<li>Comfort with office‑based outpatient visits</li>

What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h3>
<ul><li>Conduct pain‑focused histories and physical exams</li>
<li>Manage acute and chronic pain conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians</li>
<li>Develop and follow treatment plans for outpatient visits</li>
<li>Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure follow‑up care</li>
<li>Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps</li>
<li>Prescribe medications per state and practice guidelines</li>
<li>Document visits clearly in the EMR</li>
<li>Collaborate daily with physicians, MAs, and clinical staff</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Training &amp; Ongoing Support</b></h3>
<ul><li>Approximately 2 weeks of hands‑on onboarding</li>
<li>Side‑by‑side training in:
<ul><li>Pain‑focused assessments</li>
<li>Patient communication and education</li>
<li>Treatment planning and follow‑up visits</li>
</ul></li><li><b>Permanent supervising support</b> &mdash; physicians are always available to:
<ul><li>Answer questions</li>
<li>Review plans</li>
<li>Provide guidance on complex cases</li>
</ul></li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h3>
<ul><li>Licensed NP or PA‑C (new graduates welcome)</li>
<li>Active, unrestricted state license</li>
<li>National certification</li>
<li>BLS/CPR required (ACLS preferred)</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li>
