This position manages budget reconciliation, payroll, personnel transactions, supplies and equipment purchasing, scholarships, faculty searches, and other duties other duties as required.</div>

<div>High school diploma or GED.<br>
Four years of qualifying experience or a combination of education and experience that equates to four years.<br>
Experience with Microsoft Word.<br>
Customer service experience.<br>
Spreadsheet and/or database experience.<br>
Organizational skills with strong attention to detail.<br>
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.<br>
Effective verbal and written communication skills.<br>
Ability to project a positive attitude.<br>
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with accurate results.<br>

<div><div><b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></div>
<div>Reconciles all university cost centers for the school each month.<br>
Processes all invoices and vouchers for all school accounts and entities.<br>
Coordinates the purchase process for all equipment and supplies for the school.<br>
Reconciles all credit cards assigned to members of the department.<br>
Monitors credit card purchases through PNC.<br>
Oversees the university mandated process for asset inventory.<br>
Coordinates/oversees the university payroll system for the school.<br>
Coordinates the logistics and finances for faculty and staff searches, including but not limited to, posting advertisements, aiding with travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, processing reimbursements, etc.<br>
Processes all personnel transactions for the school as directed.<br>
Maintains scholarship accounts and disbursements and works with faculty and students to manage scholarship awards and requirements.<br>
Assists with the operation of the Presentation Skills Center.<br>
Provides administrative support to the school Director and Coordinators as needed.<br>
Assists visitors to the office with various requests as needed.<br>
Hires, schedules, and supervises student employees.<br>
Assists with school event operations and support as needed.<br>
Assists with sorting and distributing mail for Moore Hall as needed.<br>
Assists students with the checkout of lab keys and equipment as needed.</div>

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE ASSISTANT III/PT

<p></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>The Central Michigan University Counseling Center has a full-time, 12 month, mental health counseling position available. This position is aimed at furthering the emotional health and well-being of CMU students through counseling services, outreach, collaboration with campus partners, and coordination of the center&rsquo;s social media account.<br>
<br>
The Counseling Center provides free and confidential, short term counseling services to currently enrolled CMU students dealing with personal issues that may negatively impact their academic success, interpersonal relationships, health, or well-being. Services are provided in person and via tele-mental health and offered in a variety of formats. The Counseling Center recognizes that each student is a unique individual with different stories, experiences, and needs. We strive to create an open, safe, and inclusive environment where students can freely explore and express all identities, beliefs, and values they hold.<br>
</div><div>This collaborative and supportive team environment offers an excellent work/life balance with a flexible work schedule and opportunities for creativity in student engagement. In addition to counseling services, this position allows for outreach across campus, collaboration with campus partners, professional development, and supervision opportunities. Estimated salary range is between $61,000 and $75,000.<br>
</div><div><b>Counselor responsibilities:</b></div><ul>
<li>Provide culturally responsive and identity-informed individual, couples, and group counseling services</li>
<li>Provide campus outreach and prevention services</li>
<li>Responsible for 25 client contact hours per week, 12 paperwork hours, 1 administrative hour, and attendance at scheduled staff meetings</li>
<li>Provide consultation to colleagues, faculty, staff, and parents</li>
<li>Provide crisis intervention services during office hours</li>
<li>Participate in professional development within and outside of the center</li>
<li>Adhere to Counseling Center scope of practice and procedures</li>
<li>Maintain all professional, ethical, and legal standards in the State of Michigan</li>
<li>Maintain licensure to provide confidential mental health services in the State of Michigan and meet any related professional development requirements for that license</li>
<li>Create and/or coordinate social media content for the Counseling Center that supports the Counseling Center mission, vision and values</li>
<li>Create content for social media and other Counseling Center advertisements and promotions using CMU brand guidelines</li>
<li>Support and approve social media content for the COMPASS Peer Education Program students</li>

<ul><li>Masters or doctoral degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work or related field</li>
<li>Eligibility for licensure in Michigan within one month of start date</li>
<li>Understanding and use of cultural humility in providing counseling services to a diverse group of students</li>
<li>Clinical skills related to short term counseling and crisis intervention</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present outreach programming on mental health topics</li>
<li>Experience working as part of a collaborative and team-based approach to clinical services in a fast-paced work setting</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, strong communication skills, as well as commitment to workplace integrity and professional ethics</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Express or Canva</li>
<li>Ability to create content in accordance with university brand guidelines</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of Instagram as it relates to mental health and wellbeing while being mindful of the ethics of mental health care</li>
