<div>We are expanding our team to serve the needs of our community in the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri area! Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is excited to announce a Dental Assistant position for our Laurie Clinic. 
COMC is a Missouri non-profit, federally qualified health center that has served Pulaski, Laclede, Camden and Miller counties for over 40 years. COMC is looking for a mission-driven team member who is comfortable working with patients with diverse backgrounds. COMC Dental is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Dental assisting experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care. The Dental Assistant plays an important role in supporting providers, ensuring efficient patient flow, maintaining clinical standards, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.</li>
<li>Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.</li>
<li>Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and dental information.</li>
<li>Expose and process dental radiographs (as permitted by certification and state regulations).</li>
<li>Provide patient education regarding oral health, treatment plans, and post-operative care.</li>
<li>Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols.</li>
<li>Ensure operatories are stocked, organized, and ready for patient care.</li>
<li>Assist with scheduling, charting, and documentation as needed.</li>
<li>Support team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.</li>
<li>Deliver excellent customer service while creating a positive patient experience.</li></ul> 
 
Qualifications Preferred
<ul>
<li>Previous dental assisting experience.</li>
<li>Dental Assistant certification(s).</li>
<li>Nitrous Oxide certification.</li>
<li>Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.</li>
<li>Experience with electronic dental records.</li></ul> 
 
Required
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and grow within the dental profession.</li></ul>
