JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanical Engineer will innovate and create products that support the growth of the Company and Engineering Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Focus on Engineering design and Production
</li><li>Hands-on use of software for product design
</li><li>Support production in fabrication and machining, estimating &amp; procurement
</li><li>Participation in product compliance (UL, ETL, etc.) activities
</li><li>Lead and manage regulatory testing programs to comply with UL/IEC standards
</li><li>Participates in design documentation reviews to ensure that the released designs comply with regulatory standards
</li><li>Develop projects from conceptual design to full manufacturing capability
</li><li>Promote and Develop Engine sales to other Manufacturers
</li><li>Develop ideas for new products to manufacture
</li><li>Acts as project manager for individual and larger project efforts

<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering
</li><li>2+ years of hands-on testing experience with power products
</li><li>3+ years AutoCAD drafting experience
</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
</li><li>Solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles
</li><li>Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through
</li><li>Ability to understand, embrace, and implement new technologies as they evolve
</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills
</li><li>General sense of resiliency with a positive attitude
</li><li>Ability to work well with others from a variety of backgrounds
</li><li>Willing to put forth the honest effort in order to be successful
</li><li>Possess good, safe work habits in all environments
</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
</li><li>Be able to give regular and predictable full-time attendance
