TOTAL HOURS:</b> 8.50 hours/week. Includes evenings and/or weekends. On call in the branch and paid for all hours of each shift including when scheduled for breaks and/or meals.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:</b> Monitor conduct, prevent loss of property, and enforce rules and policies with a non-threatening, authoritative presence.</div><b><br>
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:</b> Maintain a safe and secure environment for library customers and staff while promoting a positive library atmosphere and building community rapport.</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br>

Security Officer (LCII) - 8.50 Hours

<div><div><b>WORK LOCATION:</b> Library Administration Center - 125 Olde Greenwich Drive Suite #160 Fredericksburg, VA 22408</div><div></div><div><b><br>
STARTING SALARY:</b> Hiring starts at $48,664.58 with excellent benefits, including affordable health premiums and VRS retirement for a total compensation package worth approximately $69,384 per year. The starting PTO amount is 4 weeks plus approximately 1 week of PTO earned for holidays.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
TOTAL HOURS:</b> 40 hours/week; Six scheduled evening meetings and occasional weekends; additional evenings may be required to accommodate meetings and special events. Three telework days a week as organizational needs permit.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:</b> Perform administrative tasks and provide clerical support for the Executive Team and other administrative staff as needed.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:</b> Execute efficient, proactive, and high-quality administrative work in support of the Executive Team.</div><div></div><div><br>
