 Job Summary
 
 
 
 This position is expected to be the point of contact and management of team personnel performing manufacturing inspection duties in all aspects of CSI manufacturing. The position requires a disciplined individual, able to demonstrate initiative and persistence in the development of innovative solutions.
 
 
 In addition, this position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful situations while continuing to fulfill the core responsibilities in the development and maintenance of the CSI Manufacturing Quality System. All aspects of manufacturing inspection and documentation are associated with this position.

 Salary: $29 - $34 per hour
 
 
 
 Primary Functions (not An All Inclusive List)
 
 
 
 
 Quality Assurance
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead, train and mentor manufacturing inspection team in multiple locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and verify applicable documentation for turnover packages to assure compliance withthe latest revision of ASME Section IX, BPE, cGDP, and other project specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create new procedures as needed to support Quality, Design, and/or customer requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain current revisions of procedures and forms as required by QMS.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain system of inspection Tool, Instrument and Gage calibration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in Root Cause Analysis activities, Corrective Actions Reports, ensure that Corrective Actions have been properly followed and used.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with manufacturing corrective and preventative action reports to ensure the team has identified the problem correctly and appropriate action is taken.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with maintaining CSI Welding Program to ensure compliance with ASME Section IX.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with FAT quality initiatives in conjunction with customer interfacing obligations.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Supervision
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Administer performance management and complete annual appraisals for Inspectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the productivity and efficiency of inspectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recommend and approve inspection practices and methods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage interaction among department personnel, promoting cooperation and assisting as conflicts arise.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Mentoring/Team Leader
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Mentor and evaluate team members&rsquo; knowledge and performance of their responsibilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Teach and demonstrate appropriate inspection techniques and standards to facilitate employee and team growth.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide problem solving interaction through listening and recognizing the needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the workflow among your team, promoting cooperation and interaction while always monitoring productivity.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Process Improvement
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain standard operating procedures for key manufacturing processes and product testing to ensure product integrity and consistent product performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify process control procedures associated with any manufacturing functions where
 </li>
 <li>
 improvements can be implemented.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist when appropriate with creation, implementation, and follow through of new processes and/or procedures for manufacturing improvements.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education/Training
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Associate Degree, preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 ASNT Level II, preferred
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Sanitary Process Piping experience
 </li>
 <li>
 2 + years of job-shop manufacturing experience
 </li>
 <li>
 2 + years of experience inspecting process piping and components Process Control Procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Document Control experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Microsoft Software (proficient)
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of ASME Section IX welding qualification
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Craft positions require constant bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of a welding and installation environment and will work with various power tools. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
