If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for detail-oriented work, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact!Duties<ul><li>Process all accounts payable transactions accurately using accounting software such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle, ensuring adherence to company policies and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).</li><li>Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for completeness and accuracy before approval.</li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly through effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of all payments, journal entries, and account reconciliations in systems like QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft.</li><li>Support compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls by documenting processes and conducting regular audits of accounts payable activities.</li><li>Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable and general ledger reconciliation.</li><li>Collaborate with the finance team on projects involving data entry, analysis of financial concepts, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in accounts payable processing within a corporate or public accounting environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Ceridian.</li><li>Familiarity with GAAP standards, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation techniques.</li><li>Experience working with payroll management systems like ADP or Kronos is a plus.</li><li>Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing proficiency).</li><li>Understanding of financial concepts including debits &amp; credits, general ledger accounting, and analysis skills.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
