Daily Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Maintain and update inventory records in accordance with company procedures.</li><li>
Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock counts and computer records.</li><li>
Develop and improve inventory management processes for increased accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>
Prepare settlements and audit cattle checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Set up new vendor accounts and maintain accurate vendor records.</li><li>
Analyze cattle costing, track commissions, and apply freight costs to cattle transactions.</li><li>
Organize and process freight bills, ensuring accurate and timely application of charges.</li><li>
Coordinate and communicate effectively with cattle vendors and buyers to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>
Other job tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma required; Associate degree or certification in accounting is a plus.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a related industry.</li><li>
Strong understanding of ERP systems and inventory management software.</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other productivity software.</li><li>
Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.</li><li>
Effective organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>
Must be available to work both opening and closing shifts on a rotating schedule.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</li><li>
Familiarity with cattle or meat industry operations is a plus.</li><li>
Experience with database and spreadsheet software.</li><li>
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.</li></ul>
HOURS: Rotating shifts (Opening: 6:15 am &ndash; 3:30 pm, Closing: 11:30 am &ndash; 8:00 pm).
WORKDAYS: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
