 Additional Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven at least 5 working experience in wear tech
 </li>
 <li>
 Up to date with the latest garment design-construction trends and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques, and sensibility for costing/design
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to resolving variety fitting issues &amp; modify pattern by CAD, Gerber preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Garment engineering or related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel, PPT, MS Team, drawings
 </li>
 <li>
 Flex PLM system experience will be a plus

 Specific Responsibilities Would Include
 
 
 
 
 Overall Responsibilities

 Responsible for sourcing new materials and developing new colors, as well research, exchange and share new market trends to NY team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with design teams to determine the latest sourcing direction before each season begins.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engineer and modify material composition/specifications to meet the requirements of NY.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain regular communication with the NY design team regarding development status and resolving any issues that arise.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with Apparel/Accessories merchandising development team) closely, share sourcing/development history.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create and update the material chart.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review lab dips before sending them to the NY team and follow up on their comments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with mills regarding the status of sample yard development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support to the Apparel/Accessories merchandising development team) by ensuring sample materials are delivered on time with the right quality, and their availability status is monitored.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sample yardages color and quality approval based on the color and quality standard.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with mills to ensure samples done in the right quality and delivered on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check with suppliers for solutions whenever there is any development call out there are MOQ or upcharge issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Approve bulk lab dip colors and provide feedback for any necessary corrections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on material production work in progress (WIP).
 </li>
 <li>
 Approve bulk material quality and color and filing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review customer protocols for compliance and test requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up with mills that all required material testing are done and met Centric requirements along the development and production process.

 Textile higher education graduates, familiar with fabric technology is preferred
 </li>

 Strong awareness of fabric trends and expertise in technical textile development is desired.

 Proficient in working with business network systems and capable of effectively utilizing them.
 </li>

 Well-organized individual with attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-up.
 </li>

 Should have the ability or potential to approve fabric color and quality after a short training period.
 </li>

 Proactive thinking and effective communication skills are essential.

 Capable of working independently and handling work under pressure.

 Conduct Inline inspections, Final inspections.

 Follow up on Production WIP and report any challenges communicate to Asia Leads/NA Leads.

 Communicate inspection results for each production order with Head office
 </li>

 Conduct full packaging inspection of components, execution, and stickers
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparation and communication of daily quality inspection.
 </li>

 WIP maintenance and Tracking

 Any Licensor/Customer QA w/Factories inclusive of packing instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Factory Audits and Corrective Action Plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Tracking of Color, Bulk Fabric &amp; Trim Approval

 Samples &amp; Special Req&rsquo;s- PD and Design

 QA w/Factories inclusive of packing instructions
