We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.
The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.<ul><li>
Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois</li><li>
Must live over 90 miles from the designated facility

</li><li>Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred</li><li>
Corrections experience preferred</li><li>

The Certified Wound Care RN assesses deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns, pressure injuries and bedsores and diabetic foot wounds. This person will work closely with staff to promote healing and is required to stay up to date on current wound care recommendations and products.<ul><li>
Active RN license to practice in Maryland</li><li>

Certified Wound Care RN

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Day Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Assessor to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center (BCBIC) located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Assessor conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patients in substance use programs to determine substance use treatment needs. They conduct initial screening assessments for those entering the facility and refer patients for addiction medical, substance use counseling and re-entry services as needed. They are also responsible for following up with the patient to make sure they are receiving the desired resources. SUD Assessors also help the team identify people missed on the initial screening through working with the medical team, custody staff and making rounds on the housing tiers. SUD Assessors refer patients for SUD counseling and for coincident medical, mental health and re-entry services as needed.
Shift: Day 7:30a-4:00p<ul><li>
Peer Recovery Specialist or bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in Behavioral or Social Sciences (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field)</li><li>

We are seeking a Transitional Healthcare Facilitator for needs at Indiana Women's Prison in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position will typically be primarily scheduled at Indiana Women's Prison with at least one day per week at Heritage Trails (or more) depending on number of weekly releases at each site.
The Transitional Healthcare Facilitator will be responsible for the development and implementation of transitional healthcare plans for incarcerated individuals scheduled for release. The Transitional Healthcare Facilitator will coordinate with the Indiana Department of Correction and other state and local agencies to ensure that pre-discharge planning and preparation is accomplished, and those re-entering society are provided with necessary services and resources.<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human services, social services, or criminal justice field</li><li>
Two years of experience working in a correctional setting</li><li>
Experience with/knowledge of community and state programs and services</li><li>
Two years of experience in re-entry services or release planning preferred</li><li>
Must maintain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification</li><li>
Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable</li></ul>
Available Shift:
