About The Role:We are seeking an experienced C# Developer with strong expertise in building and maintaining Windows-based applications and background services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have familiarity interfacing with AWS cloud infrastructure, local MS SQL Server databases, and various messaging and data exchange formats such as XML, XAML, and NAXML. You&rsquo;ll play a key role in architecting scalable systems that power mission-critical retail operations, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and interoperability.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications and Windows Services using C# and .NET (WPF, WinForms, or .NET Core/6+)</li><li>Work with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2) for integration and data processing</li><li>Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries in MS SQL Server</li><li>Implement XML-based standards including NAXML for retail POS integrations and messaging</li><li>Create and maintain XAML UI components in WPF applications</li><li>Develop and consume message-based systems, using MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or other messaging protocols</li><li>Collaborate with QA and DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks</li><li>Maintain clear and concise documentation of software architecture and interfaces</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong experience in C# and the .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6+</li><li>Experience building Windows Services and Windows desktop applications (WPF, WinForms)</li><li>Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance optimization techniques</li><li>Solid understanding of XML parsing, schemas (XSD), and data exchange (including NAXML)</li><li>Experience with XAML for rich UI design (WPF)</li><li>Familiarity with messaging systems such as MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS SDK for .NET and cloud-based integrations</li><li>Experience with accessory hardware integrations (printers, barcode scanners, payment devices, etc.)</li><li>Version control using Git/GitHub </li></ul>Preferred Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with retail, POS, or supply chain systems</li><li>Familiarity with NAXML schema standards</li><li>Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit)</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)</li><li>Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web service integration</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Long-term opportunity: This is not a contract job.
