<div>Summary of Position Mission 
Responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process and final production parts to drawing specifications. They will be responsible for inspecting finished firearms from outside vendors and in-house to company standards. They will also be responsible for cross training to help where the Quality needs are for, that time. 
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Inspect and document findings for incoming, In-process and final inspection parts.</li><li>
Inspect firearms manufactured, assembled, or repaired in the manufacturing area or by outside vendors.</li><li>
Identifies and documents any mistakes or problems associated with the items being inspected.</li><li>
Maintains accurate records of all items inspected.</li><li>
Submits reports to the Quality Manager regarding quality and items inspected.</li><li>
Utilizes basic test equipment such as calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages, CMM, Keyence, Rockwell Testers,</li><li>
Progressively improves upon and maintains acceptable inspection numbers in accordance with Company standards.</li><li>
Always stays on task with assigned duties.</li><li>
Adheres to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.</li><li>
Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment directed by the Company at all times.</li><li>
Maintains and keeps workstation and department area clean.</li><li>
Complete all required paperwork timely and accurately.</li><li>
Adhere to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.</li><li>
Immediately report any maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor</li><li>
Maintain respect, courtesy, a positive attitude and professionalism towards all co-workers and the Company.</li><li>
Other duties will be assigned, as required.</li></ul> 
Qualifications &amp; Knowledge Required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. <ul><li>
Proficient with standard measurement tools, height stands, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.</li><li>
Keyence, CMM calypso/zeiss (preferred)</li><li>
Understanding and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances</li><li>
Experience in reading Engineer drawings.</li><li>
Interact effectively with a variety of people.</li><li>
General mechanical ability is required.</li><li>
Possess sound problem-solving skills to help facilitate solutions to problems identified during the inspection process.</li><li>
Proficient in using Excel, Word and Outlook</li><li>
Strong understanding of Trigonometry and Mathematics</li><li>
Able to do a full layout of dimensional features.</li><li>
Experience with ERP system use, preferred.</li><li>
Ability to follow directions and prioritize accordingly.</li></ul></div>
