Summary: Responsible for providing an exceptional customer service experience and contribute to improving the financial wellness of our customers.
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Receive checking and saving deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue deposit receipts.</li><li>
 Cash checks: verify endorsement, receive proper identification, and ensure validity.</li><li>
 Accept loan payments: verify payment amount and issue receipts.</li><li>
 Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks; investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions.</li><li>
 Issue personal money orders and cashier&rsquo;s checks.</li><li>
 Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements.</li><li>
 Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.</li><li>
 Responsible for checking night depository bags and recording proper information on the financial institution&rsquo;s forms.</li><li>
 Ensure bank is in compliance with federal banking regulations including, but not limited to; Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Community Reinvestment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, GrammLeach-Bliley Act, the Federal Reserve&rsquo;s &ldquo;lettered&rdquo; regulations, and Teller roles and responsibilities relating to each act.</li><li>
 Knowledge and understanding of all Bank products and services.</li><li>
 Ensure teller station is properly supplied.</li><li>
 Answer phones and respond to emails</li><li>
 Must be individually driven and motivated to work as a team to achieve branch goals.</li><li>
 Must be able to communicate effectively with customers during difficult situations</li><li>
 Follow all bank policies and procedures.</li><li>
 Greet and assist customers.</li><li>
 Balance teller drawer on a consistent basis.</li><li>
 Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Education and Experience<ul><li>
Graduation from high school or equivalent GED</li><li>
 Cash handling experience is preferred</li><li>
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>
 Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.</li><li>
 Excellent computer and keyboard skills.</li><li>
 Good organizational skills.</li></ul>
Other<ul><li>
Must be neatly dressed and well groomed.</li><li>
 Required to complete all compliance and e-learning courses by due date.</li><li>
 Must adhere to all bank policies and procedures.</li></ul></div>

Teller I

Summary
The Universal Banker I (UBI) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling teller transactions, ordering checks, and ordering debit cards. In addition, they will begin to cross-train in other aspects of the Branch Operations and Customer Service. This includes assisting clients with Online Banking services using a variety of devices. The UBI will work with operations and the Branch sales team to achieve branch goals in the areas of deposit growth, market growth and fee income while controlling losses and expenses. The UBI will be responsible for maintaining essential controls and safeguards. The UBI will also take on other duties as assigned.
 Essential Functions
Primary responsibilities include:
Providing Exceptional Service<ul><li>
Accurately process transactions in a timely and professional manner</li><li>
Constantly look for ways to improve processes that will improve the customer&rsquo;s experience and communicate those ideas to Branch Management</li></ul>
Generating Business / Deepening Customer Relationships<ul><li>
Meets or exceeds established branch referral and sales goals for both business and consumer clients</li><li>
Partner introductions to Commercial Lending, Private Banking and Treasury Management</li></ul>
 Performance Management<ul><li>
Maintain current knowledge of all Federal and State laws and regulations, along with the Bank&rsquo;s policies and procedures (complete all BAI training)</li><li>
Process teller transactions in an accurate and timely manner (e.g. deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, check cashing, negotiable purchasing and daily balancing)</li><li>
Process and validate accuracy of coin and currency amounts related to incoming and outgoing cash shipments</li><li>
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining cash recycler</li><li>
Processes assigned reports and/or job duties in an accurate and timely manner</li></ul>
 Maintenance and Servicing of Existing Accounts<ul><li>
Performs customer service requests on existing accounts timely and accurately</li><li>
Can assess and address customer complaints (knowledge of Consumer complaint procedure)</li><li>
Reviews and recommends additional products and services based on customer profile assessment</li></ul>
 Compliance with Regulations and Bank Security Program Requirements<ul><li>
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all banking regulations and completes compliance and security training assignments (BAI) in a timely manner.</li><li>
Balances client service and risk management</li><li>
Complies with all bank policies and procedures including but not limited to:</li></ul><ul><li>
Currency Transaction Report (CTR)</li><li>
Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)</li><li>
Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP)</li><li>
REG D Policy</li><li>
FCRA &amp; FACT Act &ndash; credit reports, fraud and military alerts and confidential customer information</li></ul>
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required<ul><li>
High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>

 Regulatory Compliance
