Summary</b></p><p>
Responsible for designing fire protection systems for industrial, commercial and residential applications, completing project designs and submittals.</p><p><b>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>
Design fire protection sprinkler systems, including fire pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, with accuracy and detail to enable field installation with few design errors.</li><li>
Submit design plans to proper department leadership for approval and obtain permits as required.</li><li>
Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production.</li><li>
Design fire protection sprinkler systems within allocated hours for each job.</li><li>
Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design.</li><li>
Prepare submittal packages and subsequent correspondence to achieve design approval.</li><li>
Prepare fabrication lists for pipe fabrication vendor and requisition materials for job.</li><li>
Perform field surveys to ensure design is appropriate for structure.</li><li>
Assist field personnel with design related installation issues.</li><li>
Prepare and submit final job close-out documents after final acceptance testing.</li></ul><p><b>
Education and/or Experience</b>
</p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET Level 3 Required.</p><p><b>
Computer Skills</b>
</p><p>SprinkCad preferred, AutoCad, or HydroCAD, Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.</p><p>
</p><p><b>Additional Requirements</b></p><p>
Pre-employment Drug Screen, Clean MVR.</p><p>

Responsible for managing customer accounts, including building and maintaining relationships, managing gross profit percentage, and creating and updating service work orders to be dispatched.

</p><ul><li><div>Serve as the main point of contact with customers and partners.</div></li><li><div>
Review and approve invoices.</div></li><li><div>
Review service work orders and calculate gross profit percentage.</div></li><li><div>
Review and submit proposals for correct Gross Profit Percentage and make changes as necessary.</div></li><li><div>
Update system with notes, customer approvals, dispatch work orders, and complete follow-up phone calls on completed services.</div></li><li><div>
Review weekly operations and open work order reports.</div></li><li><div>
Manage customer email box.</div></li><li><div>
Regular and predictable on-site attendance during scheduled office hours is an essential function of this role.</div></li></ul><p>
</p><div><div><b>Education and/or Experience</b>
</div></div><p></p><div><div>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and/or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
</div></div><div><div><b>Computer Skills</b>
</div></div><div><div>Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.</div></div><div><div>
