 As Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementation of Cepheid next generation software products.
 
 
 This position is part of the R&amp;D Department and will be located in Bangalore, IDC, India. This position reports to the Engineering Manager, R&amp;D and will be an onsite role.
 
 
 
 In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain molecular diagnostics application software using Java and Angular frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement automated testing strategies across unit, component, and system levels using industry-standard tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate software components with firmware and hardware systems in regulated diagnostics environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with software quality and technical support teams to ensure compliance with FDA and ISO standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to cross-functional development cycles using Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 1 year of full stack development experience using Java and Angular, including AWS cloud deployment
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Java-based backend development and Angular-based front-end implementation
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience in low-level software design engineering and Object Oriented Design principles
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on development experience in cloud-native applications using AWS services
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 1 year of relevant industry experience
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 As an AWS certified developer
 </li>
 <li>
 A background in leveraging AI to improve operational performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with distributed teams in a global setting.
