Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and talented Mid Level Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming spaces by developing furniture specifications, creating detailed drawings and renderings, and collaborating closely with sales and management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills within a vibrant environment dedicated to excellence in furniture and design.Duties<ul><li>Support project teams throughout design development, order entry, and installation phases</li><li>This role works closely with the sales team, clients, architects, and project managers</li><li>The position is responsible for developing furniture layouts, product specifications, and presentation materials while ensuring designs align with project budgets, schedules, and client objectives</li><li>Create 2D and 3D typicals, renderings, furniture plans and specifications accordingly using CET and 2020 Worksheet</li><li>Work in partnership with manufacture teams to provide finish samples, product discounts, custom products, etc.</li><li>Stay knowledgeable of new and current product offerings and design trends</li><li>Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3+ years of experience in commercial furniture dealership (design)</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, 2020 Worksheet is required</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and construction drawings</li><li>Strong understanding of commercial furniture systems and product application</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Salary based on experience</li></ul>Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Interior design: 3 years (Required)</li><li>CET: 3 years (Required)</li><li>worksheet: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Asbury Park, NJ 07712
