You arrive ready to transform high-traffic areas into spotless, safe, and welcoming spaces. Your morning might begin with polishing an entryway, then moving on to deep-cleaning restrooms and locker rooms. By midday, you&rsquo;re setting up furniture for an event, and later you&rsquo;re on a ladder dusting light fixtures or washing interior and exterior windows. Snow in the forecast? You&rsquo;re prepared to clear steps and walkways and apply anti-skid materials so everyone can get around safely.</p><p>
You keep buildings running smoothly through careful cleaning, quick responses to maintenance requests, and thoughtful customer service for staff, visitors, and guests.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h3><ul><li>
Clean and sanitize interior and exterior building areas: sweep, mop, and scrub floors, stairs, and other surfaces.</li><li>
Use industrial floor machines to scrub, strip, wax, and polish hard floors to a professional finish.</li><li>
Vacuum carpets throughout offices, classrooms, halls, and public spaces; shampoo carpets with extraction equipment when needed.</li><li>
Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, frames, trim, and whiteboards using appropriate products.</li><li>
Thoroughly service and disinfect restrooms, showers, and locker rooms.</li><li>
Wash window sills; clean interior and exterior glass, corridor and entrance doors, and vestibules.</li><li>
Clean walls, blinds, curtains, ceiling fixtures, and HVAC vents; work safely on ladders as required.</li><li>
Move, assemble, and arrange furniture; set up and tear down for meetings and events.</li><li>
Maintain building approaches by cleaning entrances and surrounding outdoor areas.</li><li>
Collect refuse, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal points.</li><li>
Maintain and adjust equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and carpet extractors.</li><li>
Submit repair needs through the proper work order system.</li><li>
Attempt basic unclogging of toilets, sinks, bathtubs, and showers; apply drain treatments and odor control solutions on schedule.</li><li>
Clear snow and ice and apply anti-skid materials on steps and walkways when conditions require.</li><li>
Receive and unload deliveries.</li><li>
Follow safety procedures and promptly report accidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions.</li><li>
Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.</li><li>
Perform additional related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You Bring</b></h3><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED (required).</li><li>
Two years of experience in an applied trade (preferred).</li><li>
Comfort taking verbal and written work orders and following them accurately.</li><li>
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.</li><li>
Experience working in varied weather conditions and occasionally in unpleasant environments.</li><li>
Readiness to handle spills, including body fluids and chemical substances, using proper procedures.</li><li>
Physical capability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, lift, and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Special Requirement</b></h3><ul><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license or reliable transportation.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Prior custodial/janitorial experience.</li><li>
