CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a <b>Sales Operations Lead</b> to join our <b>Business Development Team</b> in a <b>remote</b> capacity and serve as a trusted strategic partner to our Chief Sales &amp; Strategy Officer (CSSO) and senior business development leadership. In this highly visible role, you&rsquo;ll sit at the center of CHA&rsquo;s growth engine&mdash;driving operational excellence, strengthening pipeline visibility, and enabling informed, timely decision‑making across the organization.</div>
What You'll Do::
<ul><li>Act as the primary Business Development Operations partner to the CSSO and senior growth leadership, advancing strategic growth initiatives aligned with corporate objectives</li><li>
Enable executive readiness by managing priorities, communications, calendars, and follow‑through for C‑suite leaders</li><li>
Support the full sales and business development lifecycle, including opportunity setup, pipeline tracking, pursuit reporting, and executive communications</li><li>
Leverage CRM and ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint) to ensure accurate pipeline data, visibility into opportunities, and actionable insight for leadership</li><li>
Produce high‑impact sales, pipeline, and performance reporting by synthesizing CRM, financial, and operational data</li><li>
Support proposal and pursuit efforts by developing compliance matrices, milestone schedules, and coordinating internal contributors</li><li>
Oversee final proposal production, ensuring quality, responsiveness, compliance, and on‑time delivery</li><li>
Serve as a cross‑functional connector across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Project Management, and Operations to improve efficiency and growth outcomes</li></ul>
What You Bring::
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field required</li><li>
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience supporting sales strategy, business development, and operations management in a growth‑oriented environment</li><li>
Proven experience partnering with C‑suite and senior leaders with professionalism, discretion, and executive presence</li><li>
Strong understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, proposal development, and CRM/ERP platforms</li><li>
Advanced organizational and project management skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities</li><li>
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear, meaningful business insights</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems; Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferred</li><li>
Experience in professional services, engineering, or consulting environments strongly preferred</li></ul>

Salary Range::

$80,000 - $95,000</div><div></div><div><br>
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.</div>

This position offers the opportunity to manage impactful utility projects, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to initiatives that enhance grid resiliency, storm response, and system reliability.</p>
What You'll Do::
<ul><li>Manage electric distribution projects from proposal development through completion, delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective utility infrastructure solutions</li><li>
Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, and schedule, while serving as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders</li><li>
Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients, utility partners, and subcontractors</li><li>
Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations</li><li>
Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management Plan</li><li>
Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects</li></ul>
What You Bring::
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required; minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
</li><li>Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software required; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred</li><li>
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent communication skills&mdash;both written and verbal&mdash;with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-paced environment</li><li>
Motivated self-starter who works well independently and supports management</li><li>
Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem-solving and negotiation</li><li>
PMP, PE or equivalent professional license preferred</li></ul>
