<div><div><div>Job Description: Responsible for overall operation of the commercial grounds maintenance project supervising a work crew of up 4 employees using gas powered lawn equipment to mow, edge, weed, blow, and remove debris at customers residence or place of business.

</div>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:<ul><li>
Manage a profitable commercial grounds maintenance project</li><li>
Maintain customer service records and work schedules</li><li>
Safely, transport, operate, and secure grounds maintenance equipment for its intended purposes</li><li>
Supervise, transport, and train crew members assigned</li><li>
Schedule assigned workers to work on a rotating basis</li><li>
Provide outstanding customer service</li><li>
Actively promote the service to potential customers</li><li>
Maintain time cards for all personnel assigned and accurately report labor hours for payroll purposes</li><li>
Operate gas powered mowing, edging, weeding, and blowing equipment</li><li>
Perform equipment safety checks prior to use</li><li>
Prepare the equipment for next day&rsquo;s use</li><li>
Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on all equipment assigned</li><li>
Promote a positive relationship with the onsite customer.</li><li>
Possess and maintain a valid Florida driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
Enforce the use of all personal protective equipment required in performance of the job</li><li>
Maintain all safety standards as set forth in the agency safety manual</li><li>
Maintain all records and reports required by Human Resources</li><li>
Report Directly to the Senior Project Manager</li><li>
This position possesses the authority hire and fire personnel with consent of the Senior Project Manager</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>
Ability to follow written and oral instructions</li><li>
Ability to work effectively alone or with a team.</li><li>
Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of lawn maintenance equipment operation and upkeep</li><li>
Good supervisor and customer service skills</li><li>
Good communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul>
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must be able to pass a background check.</li><li>
Experience in working with computers is a plus-Microsoft Word &amp; Excel.</li><li>
Prefer a minimum of (2) two years&rsquo; experience.</li><li>
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.</li><li>
Must have 3 yrs. clean driving record.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty (50) pounds utilizes a team lift. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
