Area Chief Engineer &ndash; Regional Director of Engineering</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Your Focus</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Leadership:</b> Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to ensure they perform in accordance with brand standards and HHM core values.</li><li><b>
Financial and Vendor Oversight:</b> Manage and coordinate bids, quotes, and contracts for 3rd party vendors.</li><li><b>
Project Management:</b> Oversee small projects or Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) and report on work progress.</li><li><b>
Technical Repairs:</b> Perform and oversee diverse tasks including sheetrock repair, painting, furniture refinishing, and the replacement of electrical and plumbing fixtures.</li><li><b>
Equipment and Systems:</b> Troubleshoot kitchen equipment and repair heating/cooling pumps. You will also install and program televisions.</li><li><b>
Preventative Maintenance:</b> Maintain accurate records of PMs on all rooms and equipment; test and maintain life safety systems to ensure they are 100% operational.</li><li><b>
Compliance:</b> Coordinate compliance of service contracts and ensure all work meets local, state, and Federal codes.</li><li><b>
Operations:</b> Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal while following EarthView sustainability guidelines.</li><li><b>
Safety and Service:</b> Practice safe work habits following MSDS and OSHA standards while working to increase guest satisfaction scores.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Your Background and Skills</b></h3><ul><li>
High School diploma and/or trade school coursework in a related field is preferred.</li><li>
Previous supervisory engineer/maintenance experience (or equivalent training) is required.</li><li>
HVAC certification is required.</li><li>
Other certifications may be required based on local needs.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Work Environment and Context</b></div><ul><li>
Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends or alternate shifts.</li><li>
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling or crouching.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
