Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>The coordination of resident care with a &ldquo;hands on&rdquo; management style
</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills
</li>
<li>Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies
</li>
<li>Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation
</li>
<li>Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents
</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task
</li>
<li>Knowledge of Long Term Care Regulations
</li>
<li>Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews
</li>
<li>Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
</li>
<li>Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions
</li>
<li>Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded
</li>
<li>Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment
</li>
</ul>Experience:

<li>supervisory: 3 years (Required)
</li>
<li>long term care: 5 years (Required)
</li>
</ul>License:
<ul>
<li>RN (Required)
</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid (Required)
</li>
